I didn't like the story and was unable to understand the meaning of story How can you put it in Horror and Thriller category. Stupid story

This is a system/game novel. And as the author told me, it isn't as horrifying as the cover so far. On the other hand, no idea what happened to the other x million humans overnight, assuming they aren't the monsters he's begun killing off. Basic structure is pretty good, grammar, spelling, and so on. Capitalization kind of comes and goes, but it doesn't interfer with the understanding. There's obviously much more to be explained about the world/dream/game than the first five chapters held.
