Synopsis

Watching her eyebrows furrowed in concentration as she tried to solve a problem, Erick brushed a strand of her hair and tucked them behind her ears.
Amber jumped, startled by the sudden touch. She whirled around and glared at him. โWhat the heck are you doing?โ
โNothing,โ he said. He really liked her scent. It smells of fresh flowers and the woods in the summer. Refreshing and wholesome. His wolf, Dane, always felt at ease whenever they were close to her.
Ignoring his strange behavior, Amber continued to work on her homework. โWhat about this one? How do you get this number?โ she asked, pointing at a question in her notebook.
Erick leaned closer to her and at the same time, sniffed her scent.
Amber jumped back, her eyes widened at Erick. โDid you just sniff me?!?โ
Erick pretend to look confused and frowned at her. โDid I? Are you sure you were not imagining it? You must be hearing things. I suggest you go and clean your ears next time.โ
Amber flushed red in embarrassment, or was it in anger. If it werenโt for the fact that she needed his help with her studies, she would not be here. Instead, she could have been at home, eating ice-cream while binge-watching Harry Potter. She just sighed in frustration and continued to ignore him.
This was not the first time he had been acting strange. Earlier today, a guy was about to sit next to her but had moved away when Erick growled deep at him, like a dogโฆ or a wolf.

Why is there not a movie coming out for this book, or paper copies I can buy??? This book is my favorite book yet! There's cliff hangers and twists and turns. It's a page turner for sure! The author is so visual I can see it happening as I read it. I recommend this book to anyone. 5/5 Bravo!
The story has only begun with one chapter, so there's still a lot of space for development, but from the first chapter, I have to say that it's really good and it's definitely a hidden gem ๐ The description made the story flow very well and it's easy to imagine them in your head. It was as if you're there and see them with your own eyes. For the writing quality, I'll give it 5/5 I'm not that good in grammar, but I didn't see anything wrong, so full score from me. for the stability of updates, it's only the first chapter, so I'll also give 5/5 Story development, character design, and world background might still change, so I'll give them all 5/5 I'll be waiting for new updates of this novel~ This is certainly a promising one, thank you for posting this, TheTalkingCupcakes ๐๐๐ -From a TalkingSky ๐

This story is a surprise for me. It took me by surprise that the author of 'The daily life of foodie in the office' and ' His human mate'are the same. Both are so different stories. I must say that the author has a great story telling style with ease and perfection. The characters and background is too good and not to mention negligible grammatical error which is rare these days on wn. The story of creatures like werewolf, vampires, witches etc excites me a lot and this is definitely the one if you are looking for great story with unique background. This story has piqued my interest and I'm looking forward to the story and Erick of course. Keep up the good work dear author and I'm looking forward for the story development.
This novel is worth the try because i love how things are turning so far. I also like how smooth the writing is :D Author-san is able to explain everything(character design, world building etc.) In just the early chapters of the story, unlike any other fantasy novels that has too complicated conworld. I personally like the main characters because I love shameless characters๐ I hope to see more of this lot! ๐๐๐
After reading many trash tier werewolf romance novels (agh i even developed PTSD against those) dis is like finding water in 1000 yrs dried out massive desert. ITZ FCKING DIAMOND. The Male Lead is just *smack lips* hot and charismatic popular outgoing guy (i m soo happy dat itz not those stupidly cold arrogant introverted sociopath werewolf who fck other gurls even tho they found their mate) when he found his mate he is like a chewgum stuck ito one's hair lol. The world isnt weirdly prejudiced against the main characters. When he needed to redeem himself for not following the clan's orders and nearly got himself killed and endangered other humans, yes he did some mistakes; ML is not WEIRDLY faultless and he was punished bcuz he needed to be not cz of some corrupted side character, he was sent to a forest to be disciplined, for the future alpha know more about the world AND BABE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT FROM A FLIRTEROUS BRAT TO A RESPONSIBLE MAN. Itz kinda adventure like story of becoming a great alpha werewolf with romance as one of itz main scope. The story is mostly from the perspective of the Male Lead which i fcking luv but r really rare.
I like how this story starts. Contrary to the famous "saw her, want her, own her" quick transition for other werewolves stories, this does not have that. Usually others tend to be more animalistic and act on instincts. Although, there is definitely some attraction going on here. But that's it so far. Attraction. And it seems like the common thing that happen with high school crushes. Your eyes is always on the person, your body is conscious of where the person is, you hope to make contact... but it doesn't happen so now you sound like a stalker ๐๐๐ Anyway, the romance element starts out quite naturally while we get to know more about the setting and the MC. Wohoo! More cupcakes to you, author-san!

I love this chapter. I liked that we got to see another point of view into a human mate situation. But I also like that we got a little of a shifter mate situation as well even this it was very short. I wish we could see into the girl main characters point of view more though bc I like reading her side of things. I would also like to get into the best friends head he seams really interesting. His his point of view going to be the second book, I hope he finds his mate too soon!!!!

i have been reading this novel since few months ago. i remember i binged read the first 80 or so chapter in few days. Love the story progression and the romance!! i'm quite bad remembering all the character's and wolf counterpart's names (i mistook Bastian as Sebastian ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ), fortunately there is character list ๐ provided by aistitch ๐. If you like cute wolf (Luka i miss you), handsome and charming wolves and handsome male lead ๐, this novel is for you!!! Read it and you wont be disappointed!!!
