Synopsis
Labels affect people's lives in any world. As it turns out, being a demon brings a bunch of dangers.
After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold.
Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

Read 7 chapters. For someone who dies because of wishing to see his sister, she hadn't been mentioned once in his thoughts. Quote: "He usually would not go this route because it led through an enemy gang's turf but his desire to see his sister clouded his judgement. " "He knew it was wrong but it was the only way he could keep his family fed and it offered a semblance of protection in their violence filled neighborhood." It would seem that the MC turned into "What past? I have no past." This basically made the beginning pointless. The novel might as well have started with the demons right away. Because the cornerstones of what made MC at the beginning, him valuing family and bearing responsibility, are jettisoned right after, turning him into an empty state character who, as he quips after the fact he is leveling his following skill. Quote: "Azemo kept leveling his only skill as he silently followed Zaebos, he would probably be a max level follower in no time." Also, quote: "We summoned you eight to become generals in the war against humanity. " After hearing the demon say, that MC will have to kill his mom and sister since they are humans, his next shown thought is... Quote: "'This room is really cozy.' " Yeah, zero reaction. MC is an empty puppet. Which makes demons in return hollow shells. Demons against Humans are morality war between good and evil. There can't be good or evil if the MC is an empty shell of a character who simply reacts after hearing all this. "'This room is really cozy.' " .... .. . Well, at least the grammar here is fine and well written in places. The sentences flow smoothly. Which actually just dragged me down more. Empty shell MC is usually found in authors with poor grammar and jumpy sentences that are smooth as sandpaper. In the end I feel disappointed.

I am only 10 chapters in and i am typically more harsh with my reviews, but i think this novel deserves 5 stars. the grammar and flow could use a little work up until this point, but that can only be expected from a first time writer. The plot is really interesting so far and looks promising, and im really shocked that this novel isnt more popular, and cause there are no “real” reviews, i decided to write one despite not catching up on chapters.
the writing quality and the world background are exceptional for this book. The MC comes across as a hopeless retard and personally for me it just doesn't make sense. He has experience s of two lives and yet for some reason he acts like a child. He has experienced brutality and severe loss and yet it had zero impact on his personality or his outlook. He is just unable to understand the severity of the situation and nor is he too op. Only thing the MC has going for him with his limited intellectual capability is Plot Armour.
You know, I finished reading to chapter 40, but I just can't read further. I am sincerely disgusted by the fact that the GG perceives the world around him and all the events almost as a game. "The human race has exterminated almost all demons to the last? Don't care, I will go and take revenge on their leaders, and I will forget about the rest!" - this is the philosophy that GG showed. He's some kind of child playing with his power. Honestly, purely objectively, I see a lot of opportunities that the MC could use to increase its strength and combat power. But he does not do this simply because ... Only the author of him knows why. Okay, I doubt that my review will affect anything, just those who read this, remember: if you came to read something serious or interesting, you will not find anything here except the new Isekai format.

Now, I'm an avid reader of this book and have made my opinion, its AMAZING, I know that if you like character development, some twists, and heartbreak (ow) you'll love this book! I used to read it because I was bored, but now I'm caught up with the chapters and I can't stop. (Also, if you ask nicely or meme hard enough, you might get a character featured after you!)
You should read this story. Very nice characters. Nice setting. Nice storyline. Everything is nice in the story. I hope that this will be different than the other novels. And also for xpxp I need them. Keep up the good work author. Hope you gain a contract.

A very exciting read with great pacing throughout. The main character is pretty relatable and feels like a real human as do most of the other characters. My only complaint was the end was too sudden and felt a bit lackluster, but it doesn’t take away from the story which is very well told
