Synopsis
Life had never been easy for Foster. Not when he was abandoned by his family, not when he was taken in by a local crime syndicate, and also not when he suddenly found himself in another world full of magic and mystery.
The system saved his life, giving him a second chance to live however he wanted here in this new world. After being taken in by a being that should never logically exist, Foster was given the tools that he needed to achieve his selfish desires.

Preemptive 5 star review as a reader with high expectations. Demon's Virtue is a daily read for me and one of my all time favorite webnovels and I hope this story will be the same.

I think everybody should give a try to this and the others novels or DiceVR. I've always found quite interesting the stories about undeads, necromancers and this kind of things so I'm quite happy he has brought back the concept of his test-novel (was the title "necromancer's resolve"?). Also don't get scared because of the #system tag, I can already assure you that this isn't just a system novel copy pasted from the Korean/Chinese model like there are thousands of in this platform, the plot will be coherent but will also find ways to surprise you. I don't want to say much more cause we are just at the beginning and I'd look like a fanboy. I repeat what I've said at the beginning, try reading it and give yourself a chance to fall in love with it, then suffer with us for the cliffhanger when waiting for the next chapter.
5 stars because I love the work dice does. Hoping that this novel will be as masterful as Demon's Virtue and Spending My Retirement in a Game.

Great story. I'm really enjoying it so far. My only complaint, though it's a big one, is that updates tend to be few and far between. The last update at the time of writing this was at least a month ago. I'd rather read a slightly lower quality novel that updates more regularly.
Mc is braindead and idgaf if hes an average person with no knowledge of magic but even an average person with little knowledge can at least understand a bit about magic and not be stupid enough to just spill all their info. They should be smart enough to know being an otherworlder isnt normal and to not give away there most op ability. The mc is so braindead stupid
This is a slow story with a great MC that actually feels like he is from the city. Not a gangster, but definitely from a city. Itโs a weird thing to praise, but the dialogue is so refeshing in a sea of eastern novels. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a fresh take on the transmigration novels. The updating stability is highly random and the main downside. After chapter 50 I tore through this novel, and even after waiting a week to read there is almost never more than 1-2 chapters. Definitely worth it if your patient.

Honestly a bit disappointed with this novel. its pretty good without grammer error and suchโฆ but its way to slow paced. Iโm nearly 100 chaps in and the mc doesnt have and real necomany skills or something that would tie to the stars. Which isnt what i expected when reading the title, intro, or even the first few chaps. the MCs just a martial artist with some unque aspects.
Itโs pretty solid i like it although its not my usual cup of tea i still quite like this ish compared to the other novels that i read. Mc instead of being hella apprehensive of the people in the new world, heโs kind of not that much wary. By all means that doesn't mean heโs not smart and that hes naive cuz in the first part of the story he done the right thing bolting the shet out of there lol. I wont spoil why but its pretty comedic if u imagine the reaction to the people who he ran away from lol comments made it funnier. Anyway its a good novel to read lightly and the interactions between the new friends r lowkey hilarious in its own sense. Ive read up to 29 so would recommend if you got time to spare and that friendship troupe life n death brothers for life is ur cup of tea. Writing Quality: itโs decent, i wasnt really paying that much attention to the details cuz the story was flowing well n if there were, i didnt notice lol Updating Stability: i dont really know i think this is relatively new since it only has 29 chapters n i finished it in one sitting. Iโll give it the benefit of the doubt but like all novels i would wish for moar n moar but one chap every or every now n then is cool Story development: like i said its not my cup of tea but its pretty great how things transition from one place to another. Its hella smooth n It doesnt seem that force except yk how he literaly just transported to another world but chow we dont talk abt that. Character design: mc is pretty solid... i think? He was an ex gansta but after world go brrr changed, he kind of had an melt down. I mean its not normal especially the moment u go into this foreign place u got mangled by an monster. After being in the world enough and โfittingโ in, he got two new friends that i can tell. I dont see much design in them like any background information/ info dump done successfully except that little part after the life n death situation. It was mostly the comedic interactions that paved the introduction of the characters and the way that they first get to know each other. It still early stages so yup hope them aint just 2D characters that dont got dimension tho they r 2D characters.. World development: i honestly cant rmb but its the classic mages, martial arts with classes. I really dont know if everybody has systems as it doesnt explicitly say it. Maybe i missrd it so its iffy. Thereโs not much information(?) ngl i completely forgot if there was any info dump uhh anyway i think it would be the usual world tho we dont know it as its still only 29 chaps. I think this might be the first martial arts+ Necromancy mc for me so thats quite fun to look into

I actually remember reading this story a year ago when it was a potential starlet, it's nice that it is back as a fully fleshed out novel. I love the story and hope to see how it progress. This is the first-ever novel that I actually read on the site and hope to see more of it.
Updates are regular. Stories is good at setting your expectations. Characters are believable and dialogue is normal. The use of monologues and reflections are very minimal. I find visual descriptions of the setting somewhat lacking but you do get a sense that the author has an idea of what everything looks like.
the beginning g of the book grabs ones interest immediately. after reading this authors other works, I'm looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.
I sincerely hate that I stumbled upon this new book by DiceVR so early. This is DiceVR's first book that I wasn't able to binge read and it's killing me. preemptive 5 stars as DiceVR has yet to disappoint.
5 stars so far- seems like it has potential, especially considering this authorโs earlier work I have read through ch 25 and Im kinda sad that I found it so early because there are so few chapters
first and foremost I love the cover art. Even if it has nothing to do with what we know of the story so far it is still quite cool. Main character is also pretty cool. Other than the semi plot hole of him not having money whilst also being an executive hes a great character. Gives off some armnipotent vibes, but only the good ones as this dude is a pretty smart guy and thinks things through. Finally, the side characters themselves seem well thought out and logical. On average they are a bit too naive, but they are still a million times better than the average side characters. Lots of depth that doesn't need to be written out for the reader to understand. Very good
