Synopsis
The man finally asked her, "have you ever thought how this world would become without you?"
The woman chuckled wryly. She gazed out of the window, seeing the bustling roads after work hour. Human was so tiny from the height. At least that was what she thought. She shifted her eyes and looked at the man right into the eyes. There was self-ridicule in her voice, "The world without me? It will still rotate, from day to night and so on. it will always revolves around the sun. My existence is insignificant. I will be forgotten soon if I die."
The man stunned by her words. he had never thought that this seemingly cheerful, bubbly woman would have such thought in her mind, especially not after seeing her unbounded narcissism.

The story feels very realistic. The author did a fine job telling the parts of the characters as well as the situation. The only thing that i'd like to point out is the "showing" technique instead of "telling". For an example, instead of saying the mother was short-tempered, I think a dialogue from her daughter, expressing how angry she was with the person or something along those lines. In the way, you could show us her personalities.
It's good to have a novel based on reality of how a family really lives. World is not always fair, it's good for the readers to discover about it. Great way to start the novel, it creates the initial atmosphere of the story plot. Cheers to this, author!
