Hello there, Author here. This is my 3rd book, I decided to start this after getting some confidence in my writing. It's not perfect, the mc is not perfect either, but I'm pretty sure that it's enjoyable. If you give it a try, then thanks in advance. And if there's any problem with the writing, you can just indicate and I'll try to fix it within 24 hours. The book is something like the picture, and yes, there'll be lots of evolutions. Never before have I realized I wanted a mix between Re:Monster and Subnautica. Evolving shark MC? Ocean Planet? Take five stars, i ****ing love it.
I was hoping for something a bit more mature but this is like a Disney's little mermaid version of a evolution with a system novel. I mean your grammar is great, the story had potential, but it's not something made for adults. I was so into it until the turtle showed up and then it just went downhill for me personally. The teenage part which you know what I mean did it for me.

Lorem Ipsum errr, I don't remember the rest so let's move on. The story paints a vivid picture of the world where the action takes place. Through the usage of the tiny elements of the world, the author instantly immerses the reader into the rich in flavour world of his creation. I really hate speaking about the plot as I believe everyone should try it themselves. Despite that, solidly written cliches and relatively standard openings allows me to peer into what possibly this novel have in store. Execution of the further plot is what I'm actually curious about, as I have a feeling that it will exceed my expectations on this one. In the end, I cannot really say much about the story. It's a solid piece of the literature that promises a tasty piece of webnovel down the line. Now it's up to author to live up to the promises his chapters give.
Personally, alright? It shares common problem with lots of other Webnovel out there (for me). Which is the MC is unpleasant. Rude to the system. Why? Why would you be rude to other people that do you no harm? I can't follow the adventure of some guy(or shark) that I detest.
Mc is too much of a ret*rd(Despite being a supposed to be a genius) for me to continue reading this novel and we also seems to have a sh*tty system who would make things more harder for our supposed genius(Dropped at chap 5)
Chapter 280something. I feel tired, it took 180 chapter for him to get stronger, from 100 to 280, even more, he doesn't evolve like the image could lead you to think. He is a shark, and stay a shark., just a bigger one, no chtulu thing or mixed overpowered thing.
The best thing i have ever read. MC is a VERY NOT stupid individual. The logic is amazing. Loved how MC is immortal and does not die from bleeding.

TLDR at the end. Great novel, I am caught up currently and think it is doing well especially since it handled what I think is one of the first big turning points to this type of story which is how it handles other characters or groups added in the story that the mc interacts with. What I mean by that is some novels begin focusing too much on others where it becomes less of watching an mc get stronger to kingdom building. The shark clan is handled well as his growth doesn’t stop and the community actually has a lot of benefits for him. I don’t hate building up strong companions or interacting with others only when it causes the story to stagnate. An example would be if the mc decided to stay in Leroy’s group to help them get stronger and not leaving that zone for a long time where not much changes(has happened in another novel). Just wanted to say that since it is the deciding factor in novels like this at least for me so now onto the official review. World background is great. Character development, skills and how combat is handled is great. Pace of the story is good not being too fast or slow and finding ways to keep it interesting along the way. TLDR: interesting read with a mc who grows stronger at a good pace while having enough events happen it doesn’t feel like a grind. Definitely a must read to those who already enjoy this kind of story similar to “The Tales of the World Devouring Serpent”.

Ocean Master is a unique and bold story. A system isekai with a shark main character in a world that is only oceans. Does it get more unique? I don’t think so. The world-building is nicely done, and the pacing is perfect. With all the bits of knowledge dropped everywhere, you can tell that the author has put in a lot of hard work and effort into crafting the story and merging it with magic. They know just where the story will go and how. The world is very different and Sebastian and his Ocean Domination System make for the perfect partners to journey through Oceania with! Barring the few technical mistakes the author makes in the writing, Ocean Master makes for the perfect read!
The story is nice but really boring as the plot is repetitive. He goes somewhere in some cave then he is attacked by something stronger, he promises himself not to do so again and few chapters later he still does... then repeat and repeat.
I'm currently at chapter 30 and it's been interesting so far and can't wait to see more. I was just wondering if you was going to keep him in his shark form or is he going to get a humanoid form later like Hody Jones or King Shark or maybe he can transform into a humanoid or he will stay in his shark form? Also with the water transmutation later idk if you thought of it yet but you can have him make a high pressured water blade to fight with, which can slice through anything especially powered by magic or super high pressurized water bullet of 16,000 PSI which will hit like several planes smashing into you add insane velocity with dat yikes

A good novel. I enjoyed reading it a lot. It really contains a huge amount of genres such that if I were to point out each one by one, I would probably write an essay. Surprisingly it feels really comfy without making me feel confused or bored. The grammar and other English stuff are almost perfect or maybe I was a bit too immersed in the novel quite enough to ignore it. The writing style tends to be more similar to Chinese? The humor of the author seems to have a 50-50 chance to be a hit or a miss. Probably you will cringe and laugh every single chapter. Also, there is a sense of fluidity between chapter and environment change, it doesn't feel too "rigid". The story isn't an exact replica of a cliche reincarnation, but it does indeed have some cliche stuff that probably wouldn't bother anyone much. I love how amazingly the genres mixed up with themselves. There is qi, magic, and other stuff but believe me when I say that both cultivation novel fans and the magic reincarnation fans will probably enjoy it a lot. There is an extreme lack of side character plot tho. I really would like to see side stories and more chapters based on characters other than MC, I feel that the author isn't taking proper advantage of the 3rd person's view to give little more insight on others except for the MC. The story is also similar to a XuanHuan novel, MC is indeed getting strong beyond a limit(i bet 300 chapters more and MC will be tearing dimensions and space) and excitingly it does the power increase in a very steady and "non-cringing" way. Till the point where I have read (chap 396), there isn't any romance(except {spoiler}) but please don't think that I feel disappointed about it tho, it would make me feel really weird if a shark has romances with human (even weirder if the human reciprocates). Interestingly coming to recent chapters, I could see something interesting happening between seb and ******, and I say I approve with all my heart! To those who are curious and haven't started reading, I'm not spoiling! read yourselves HeHe. Alright now coming to character development, it's pretty average, to be honest, and actually could ultimately be called the weak point of this novel. None of the characters except MC was given enough spotlight or chapter appearance to create a lasting impression for me. Even the character's personalities are a mystery since there's too little information about them. I hope the Author could do something about this because then it would easily be 5 stars or 4.5+ stars novel for sure. The world background is solidly built as of 390 chapters. The world might be confusing at first but later it became really good. for the information new readers, the world is properly explained in later chapters. so just like the system would say: "You aren't high level enough to access world information, newbie reader!" Okay, that's it! thanks for spending time reading this lengthy review and good job author-san for making an awesome novel!
