Synopsis
Mathew survived the entire two weeks of the apocalypse. A great score for someone blessed with brains over the brawn. Yet, even he fell after just fourteen days, giving his all to save the one person he cared for.
But why does a death looks like watching himself from the third person perspective? Is this the purgatory to watch over his own shoulders at the mistakes he made? A punishment for Mathew's sins to repeat those mistakes over and over again?

MC is just stupid, the people in the background are just NPCs created just to make volume, the decisions made only make sense until 2 lines later where you are explained by the MC himself that this was a stupid decision and it would only bring more problems. He has a system, but that system so far doesn't strengthen him in the least, it strengthens the girls, but even so the MC who describes himself as a skinny wimp, makes a massacre worthy of Rambo to applaud, but treats the girl (who is empowered by the system) as a decoration vase. They have a lot of pauses between attacks, but whenever someone asks for an explanation the MC just tells them to shut up, obey him or a "how do I know", apart from the fact that he never asks if anyone else received a system, explain more about them for his battle companions (NPCs) and the fact that "I saw" or "I did" this or that in the last life, but I don't know how to do it or how it works here!
Okay. This is an absolute nightmare. Things make no sense. The action scenes are... trainwrecks. The are explained in ways that make it extremely hard to understand. many things (especially with the merchant) are completely inconsistent and contradictory. The actions of the main character aren't explained, which in itself isn't bad, but when its almost every single action, it just gets confusing. I will praise the concept, because it does seem interesting, but the execution isn't there. Overall, wouldn't recommend.
The vivid details and worldbuilding in this story are great! Combine that with the lifelike characters and intriguing dialogue and you end up with a novel that you get absorbed into, losing complete track of time. I only wish for more chapters, keep it up author! I'll be here!
Is it even a surprise that Sloth keeps pushing out one jewel after another? Well, it should not be, but I will be coming back to this uplifting and captivating novel many times. The plot is great, the writing style is honed to such high levels that I don't have anything to complain about. BTW great MC.
i try to be very unbiased in my reviews and dont usually write reviews but i have to do this for my fellow daoists dont read this chaotic scripture it you will lose your brain cells and will face heart demons its even worse than the demonic scripture known as mtl if u still want to enter this chaotic cultivation path then dont blame me after you get your cultivation crippled
Good story premise, but not well executed. It feels disjointed and lacks a flow. World is not explained enough, and processes occur with out knowing why?
It could have been good... so many chapter no development only fking details.... too much fking details. Nothing interesting to pick on...really at first I thought it would be pretty interesting story....but Well read it your own before you decide anything. I was giving my review.
Just another bad harem story. Stupid MC. Stupid System. Stupid movie like action scenes that make absolutely no sense. Copy and Paste Zombie Apokalypse. Terrible Harem build up. First Is his childhood friend but neither he or her confessed to each other. Since it’s maybe not the right time ok. Only chapters later he thinks of adding two more girls to his harem system and fill up the last two spots. He never even talked to them before and thinks that banging and adding them now would hurt the feelings of his childhoodfriend who really is in love with him. So in name of science he adds them anyway. Huh? And writing is at best only okayish.

The author tried to create suspense but the story only feels repetative and monotonous. The story is not able to create intrest interest in the first 15 chapters. So dropping out of it.
This was a good recommendation, even though it is still in the works. I think this can become a great read. The writing quality was very good.. Update wise I cannot say much as this is new. Story development was smooth and felt very good to read. Although it is too early to tell potential good characters they were fleshed out very good. The description of the background was the strong point imo. Overall a very good read, I suggest giving it a solid try!
The story is appealing just from the name, it's about a smart MC with the knowledge of apocalypse. there is no any need for explaining the plot, jusy wanted to say few things. motivatedsloth is one of the best authors that webnovel possess and he never disappoint his readers. this book will definetly be a banger.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS NOVEL TO YOU ALL. The name cought me off guard.. lol. I just read one chapter of this book and I am jealous. Why? Bcoz its better than my novel .. The story is well written I think for the start. And the author isn't some green horn he knows what he is doing. This novel will come in top 25 i believe it...Just keep going author don't give up..

It's Sloth, what were you expecting? Some humdrum bottom of the barrel trash? No, that's not the sort of novel Sloth produces. He's motivated. With that motivation comes sheer writing talent. Hehe. You better read this one.
I have no words. Once I started reading this novel, I can't put it down. This is the first zombie novel that I love reading. I mean, I never thought I'd become so addicted to a male leading novel, but guess what? I did! The plot is also amazing, makes me want to read it more. Keep up the good work, author!

The author clearly has a vision of the scenes and scenarios in their head but fails to express them properly resulting in an incoherent mess. Scenes like after the mc fell down, or with the students rioting in Nadias pov, the merchant etc make no sense. In fact I have 0 clue about anything during the whole climbing pipes and windows scene. Nadia's pov during the riot and what happened almost feels like a 2 page scene cramped into one small paragraph in a very incoherent way.
This is a good story even though it’s still in the works. The writing quality and story development seem good so far As for the character design and world background, they aren’t lacking in any way
I'm gonna let this stockpile to a few hundred chapters before reading hopefully it will be worth the wait i loved "One Last System" (Author's Other Book) so i am more then sure my time will not be wasted

Release rate: 2ch/day Potential bonus chapters, make me release them, I dare you! The tags that fit the story the most: Harem (duh, but not forced), romance, action, apocalypse and partially kingdom-building? Setting oneself up in the world changed by the apocalypse? You will understand once you get to reading it, so let's move on. The story will contain strong sexual and violent parts, so be advised. It's a book dedicated to adults, after all.
