Ian lost the love of his life so suddenly that his mind still refuses to accept that reality. He gave up everything and secluded himself until his mother found him a bride. His one task was to give the family an heir but how can Ian do this when the air he breathes all revolves around the one woman he can never have. However, he finds himself in a predicament and dilema when the new contracted bride is thrust into his life unwittingly... especially, when he finds out that she is more than meets the eye.

« Shameless promotion » I love doing this for myself for morale boost lol 😝 . As you may have probably read from some of my other books, « who else would support me first but me? I am always my first fun 🤩 » So, I give this a solid 5 stars 🌟, not just based on nothing. It is because I know it deserves it. The book is about the trials of a young woman in both love and family. She has to face and try to win the man she has been contracted to marry. Shelby will not even try to win his heart because that will be too high of a bridge for her to climb considering that spot is already occupied. All Shelby wanted to do was her ‘duty’ and nothing else but will it ever be that easy? Join me in reading and you will love it 🥰.
This story is amazing. The characters are well developed. The plot is so interesting, I even finished reading in one night 😭😭😭. I want to read more!!! Please add more🙏. I love the story.
While the writing style is elegant and evocative, effortlessly transporting readers into the vividly described world of the story. but it often comes across as overly descriptive and bloated. The excessive use of unnecessary details slows down the pacing and interrupts the flow of your story. but also storytelling and well-crafted characters ensure a memorable reading experience for fans of the genre. I highly recommend
Interesting. I like the descriptive language and world building. First chapters were slightly boring for me since I don't read these kind of novels but those who do will find it good. Overall nice
going head first into the story, the characters already started off to be a "joy". The mother is basically the living definition of a snake and the father is a good-for-nothing that doesn't care about the child! What else is new- Though the female lead just takes it and goes along with everything! The drama is good in this book but there was some things that seemed off to me, like everytime shelby stutters it would be so random, almost like no thought was put into it at all, though its a small detail so i can't blame you. ((apparently wn blocks out reviews with swears and other words, please tell me if you can see this and sorry again))

This is a great story and I would highly recommend others to read this book, despite its grammar issues at play here.
1st chap was lil boring, but it's getting good and starting to develop well. not my kind of novel but i would love to read it, and know more about the story
I don't usually read romance books but with how intense the first chapter is, this book really caught my interest. Keep working to upload more chapters and keep showing how strong, proud, and beautiful the MC can be.
This seems super interesting so far. I absolutely love (well love isn't the right word because I dislike most of them but this is good) the characters. There are some grammar and punctuation mistakes, but nothing major. Also, I think it would really benefit this story if the first chapter was a little more suspense-filled, but everything else about this story is awesome. Amazing novel!!
This is super good so far! I do feel like for the genre it starts out a little slow, but after that, it gets much better. I love the detail put into character design and the writing quality is fantastic! Great work, author!!
umm with the things I read so far I could say it is really good, first adds the suspense in the story from start which makes it more interesting and transition between one chapter to another was just a little rough but I Don't think that will be a problem so far it is really good, and if you keep this it will become big, best of luck.

The writing is smooth and intriguing. The pacing is slow but in the first and the second chapter will feel confused what's happening, but you will understand as you read more. Name the chapters without adding the number of the chapter. It's bothersome seeing Chapter 8: chapter 7 as a title. The characters are well fleshed, The weak FL, the ignorant mother, the tyrant stepfather and the last we get to see the ML's sadness. It's a great story. I wish you luck in the competition.
I like what I've read so far. There are few areas where the syntax seems a bit off/unnatural but that, I think is a minor issue. For the time being, our girl seem to be the perfect victim but I hope that over time, this character will be developed to the point where she has some agency and can gather the gumption to to what it takes to save herself!
As a romance genre, it has quality. But the blurb could surely use some work there. Setting up the world background could use some work and overall it has lots of potential. And once again sorry for reaching out late i was kind of busy!! Gomenne!
My fav author brought another one out!OMG! I love this. The FL draws my heartstrings so much. I don't know what is wrong with her mother because ignorance is no excuse for certain behaviours. The step-dad? He is another handful that I don't want to get into and ML? i don't even know what to feel about him.I look forward to see how these characters develop! Author-San Jiayo!
