Synopsis
Nearly 500 years have passed since the so-called "Apocalypse" where the souls had taken control over the human vessels and grew into fierce monsters. And the humans couldn't procreate anymore.
A small frail kid saved humanity from getting wiped out of the face of the earth through his strangely powerful and unique techniques and taught them to the humans that followed him.
He became a legend, and from his teachings, humans were able to tap into their "chi" to stabilize their souls by manifesting their soul essence into special weapons called "cranks".
A very few thousands of last generation humans that remained or stayed alive by becaming crankers now constitutes the only humanity left on the planet.
And they should continue to keep levelling up their cranks by slaying monsters and siphoning their souls to stay immortal and most of them tend to form teams to increase their odds.
Everything was wrist-slittingly boring like that until one of those teams went ahead and mistakenly awakened the legend kid from his deep, and sound slumber.

I saw many negative reviews about this book and I honestly don't know why they did those. I was instantly hooked right from the first paragraph and what was that about not having a lead and plot, you guys were throwing your mouths off about? Come out of your comfort and boring zones, you guys. This book is really not that bad. And that is rare coming from me!
The author narrated the story in a clear manner and updated the story levels in the chapter wise as one to get it clear.Over all it is good experience to go though it and I recommend others to read it with no hesitation.Did well by the author and all the best for the future writings.
Caution: Honest thoughts down here! Worst Book I've read so far! No plot! No lead hero! And the concept felt pretty confusing and annoyingly irritating too! The action sequence in the second chapter was the one thing worth a read other than that It felt like the author is dragging the story to mean something but is actually worsening it in doing so.
Let me tell you this so you don't misunderstand My intention here. This book doesn't even have a stable lead character. Who the f*ck are we supposed to follow and emphasize in this story??!! Second, there is no such thing as plot anywhere in all the 20 chapters I read so far. It's just a nauseating combo of bullshit and batcrap. Heed my advice and stay away from this piece of epic utterness of a book if you value your reading time.
A very unique story and the author didn't compromised anywhere.It's a complete movie feel novel.good characterization,good imagination.absolute buffet for novel lovers.Great job! need more of this.
Special weapons called Cranks forming from the souls. Battling scary monsters weilding those weapons sounded interesting when I was scrolling over the synopsis. So I considered giving it a chance. The first 10 chapters of so maintained consistency with the plot but after that it gets really dilluted like a barrel of water mixed into a tea spoon of milk.

Obsolutely loved it. So far so good. Neat and easy words though tried to complicate the vocabulary at times. Could use grammarly editor ( just a thought)
New concepts incorporated with old cliches. Good for its battle scenes and very bad for its captivating content. Felt low on entertainment and originality overall. But we all love a cliche or two, don't we?
Almost fesh action and fight scenes. Averagely crispy dialogues. Bad character descriptions. It's mostly garbage and gibberish as you cross the 20 chapters line. Must be working on something else and trying to lengthen the measly and scarcely written chapters way past the common sense.

An intense read for the Fantasy lovers. Imaginitive and one hell of an action sequence at the start. A story of honed swords facing earth sized monsters.
