Bleach : The silent blade

Reborn in the Rukongai as a child with no memory of his previous life, Kurotsuki Renya awakens to the cold truths of Soul Society. At eleven years old, he’s rescued by Renji Abarai and Rukia Kuchiki during a routine patrol in the outer districts. Sensing his latent spiritual pressure, they bring him into the Seireitei, where he is enrolled in the Shin’ō Academy.

Renya quickly rises to the top of his class — not through raw power, but through precision, discipline, and an unnerving mastery of stealth and Kidō. While most cadets aim to join the Gotei 13, Renya is handpicked by the Commander of the Onmitsukidō — Soul Society’s covert assassination and black ops unit — and recruited into the Corps of Punishment.

Though still young, Renya conceals a brutal resolve behind his calm demeanor. In a world shaped by balance and duty, he forms his own creed:
“Those who threaten order from the shadows… shall be erased by the shadows.”

Haunted by visions of a burning sky and a name long forgotten, Renya carries out missions deemed too dark for the Gotei 13 — eliminating traitors, suppressing forbidden knowledge, and protecting Soul Society’s secrets at all costs.

But when strange anomalies begin appearing across the districts — echoes of spiritual energy not tied to Hollows, Quincy, or Arrancar — Renya is forced to confront the reality that the greatest threats to Soul Society may not come from the outside… but from within.
