One of the best novels I’ve ever read. The jokes are good, and the immersion is amazing, which is something many novels struggle with. Also, all of the characters feel genuinely alive instead of just being stepping stones for the main character. I can only hope that you don’t rush the novel, or make Johan lose in the end. That would kinda suck unless it’s done right.

I don't want to sound like a bot but it's crazy just how good this novel is. It's very rare for an author to be putting this much planning and thought into their writing where chapters will hold clues and foreshadowing for another chapter 20 chapters down the line. It's fun as you piece together different stories by gathering pieces in different chapters. The characters are all very alive and unique. Johan is written very well and you can see him developing as he gets more and more sadistic. The novel will be a hit or miss depending on home much you relate to Johan and how amusing you find his actions. This is also a passion project by the author which makes it two times better, they even made a playlist to listen to. I'm still giving a 5 for updates since the author is making this thrilling story (which I'm sure takes up a lot of time) and living their life while keeping this novel free. The only downside I can find to this novel is that it might occasionally become confusing as since there are many different plotlines and the reader has the piece them together, you might find yourself lost. Still, a really good novel, and I recommend that you read it.

It’s so f * cking chaotic. I wanna preface this review by saying I listen to novels with a text-to-speech so my experience will be different to many others probably. Writing Quality: Initially I thought of it as some disgustingly horrible grammar, but you realise the stilted text is a style that reflects the way the MC thjnks and the story is carried out. I can’t help but feel it adds so much charm to the novel and if it was done intentionally, was such a big plus to not give anything but full marks. The lack of Obvious POV changes makes this slightly confusing, but again, I like to think it truly adds to the charm and the style has got better into V2. 10/5 stars. Updating Stability: well I binged what might have been one of my best reads of the year in essentially one go, so I haven’t got much to comment on this, but from what I can see it’s pretry good. 4.5/5 stars Story Development: Phenomenal. I f * cking love the way the story has gone so far. It’s so chaotic and (insert other adjectives) that it has me too fking eager to read the next chapter. I’ve been on a reading material dry period for the past month and so this was like a bottle of water in the desert. God this is so f* cking good. 6/5stars Character Design: Insanity. This guy is insane. He’s so deranged it hurts my brain trying to figure him out. And I f *cking love it. I can literally feel him getting progressively insane through the novel, and the way his tendencies and possessiveness is written is honestly beautiful. Like the build up to it I thought was really natural and all round wonderfully planned. The side -characters too are honestly great. I love MC’s interactions with them. 9/5 stars. World building: Pretty good. Upon reflection, I feel quite in tune with the world and the school. Sure, the focus of this is the character and the plot but it doesn’t take too much away from the world building. I’ll give it a healthy 3.5/5 stars. I know I’m being biased here, but this, as I said, was like a bottle of water in the middle of a desert for me. This has genuinely got me as excited as when I clicked next episode for anime like death note or code geass. It’s genuinely a thrilling read and I’m surprised it doesn’t have more views honestly. Maybe it’s time to blow it up on discord servers hmm Nice one author, keep it up!

I have been reading this since early development and so far, it's been very immersing and fun to follow. The MC is a narcissist, but very unique in the aspect that he doesn't quite fit in the typical hot-headed narcissistic stereotype you see on TV. However, he also doesn't fit the stereotype of the perfect, cold and calculating narcissist. While I'd say it's closer to that, there is still some degree of imperfection in his callousness, which I personally find way more enjoyable than a "perfect" character. I also enjoy the attention to precise details and the authors ability to deconstruct a social situation that the MC finds himself in and convey the very small but important nuances concerning in a way that gives the reader a lot more insight into what's happening. Overall, definitely recommended if you'd enjoy a psychological novel that explores the darker side of humanity.

Great story, great writing. Kept me immersed the whole time, aching to read the next few lines. Parts meant to be humorous were done well, and the intense moments keep you on the edge of your seat. The one thing that I would criticize is the trope-- I really hope that this MC does not become the "overpowered" type where he always has some dumb trick up his sleeve to get out of a situation. Author has done well so far, but tbf I was scared at the last chapter before the ending. Overall, definitely recommend this and can't wait for volume 2.

Not to be weird or anything, but honestly i kinda wish i was crazy like johan and the observer, i kinda lost allmost most of my emotions. so it would be great to be so spontanious. im litterly like a robot sometimes so to be like them wouldnt be too bad.
