Synopsis

Khamuel is forced to visit earth when his healer is found dead. Visiting Earth's consulate for star travelers is his only chance to find a replacement. A malfunction of his forager causes an accident on Earth and Khamuel has to take three injured females onto his mother ship to help them heal. Who knew finding a mate could be so traumatic?

Lena never really gave much thought to what lay beyond Earth's atmosphere since she was too busy trying to survive life. Inadvertently kidnapped by aliens, Lena is more than willing to accept their protection. Acclimating to life on Charity is easy. Earning the trust of the Ka'al leader, Khamuell, would take work.

Passion, fear, and lies swirl around Lena and Khamuel as each protects their secrets with guarded hearts. When an old nemesis appears and demands Lena's return, she has no choice but to put her trust into Khamuel and Khamuel has to face the truths of his own bias.

So far so good. I did notice some paragraph spacing issues, but I think that has more to do with the app than the writer. These apps can wreak havoc on formatting. The characters are likeable so far and the author does a good job of slowly feeding you info rather than info dumping. I'm liking the biblical undertones too. I'm not sure but I think this is turning into an angel falls for human type book. Pretty cool. I like it.
