Synopsis
Uzumaki Naruto, 26 years old and undoubtedly one of the few remaining shinobi still alive after 10 long years of war, lay dying in the midst of a bloody battlefield. With Konoha gone and no one left to live for, he sends himself back to the beginning, to the day of his younger self's graduation from the academy, in one final attempt to set things right.
I do not own Naruto, I also don't own this story. The original author, cywsaphyre, from fanfiction.net, never continued this story and I just want to share it with readers. Cywsaphyre also gave their readers permission to take over the story so don't sue me.
After checking a commentary that accused me of stealing, I checked the origins of the fanfiction and found an author who had continued the original story a bit.
The author who continued the story is called mizuraikage but the original author of the work is indeed cywsaphyre.

Five stars from me. I don't know the story behind it, but assuming that it comes from fanfiction I assumed that it was written before Naruto ended or in a parallel universe. The writing and pacing are amazing, and I always seem to laugh and get excited with it. Credit to the original author for making this masterpiece, and to the guy bringing it here. This story has so much love for the series that it shows in the intricacies and details during the fights amongst other scenes. Wonderful.

Damn took me 3 days to read the 19 chapters ...I want more just do it like this author ... Mass release every time you do .... It's been fun reading it.... Can't wait for another 19 chapter release wahahahahahahajahahahahahahahaha
OMG!! OMG!! This.....Ok, first of all good job on the 'alternate narutoverse' take that the author had. I'm somewhat tired of reading fanfics where everything goes according to canon; the author basically dispenses with canon from the get go. The characters are relatable, the technicalities of the village power structure and jutsu are even more refined than the original story. The strategy and politics in this fanfic is sublime. I wasn't expecting that level of forethought into Konoha politics. The chapters are LONG, exactly how I like them and how they should be. Quite frankly, I think the author did a very wonderful job with this. Are there some flaws? Yes, but they are simply outweighed by fascination with the pseudo-new world which the author has created. This fanfic won't be for everyone. I love the slow build and acclamation to this new scape and his the author didn't just jump into wars and harems and all that fluff. Keep up the good work and I hope you keep writing.

This is a great novel, thank you. Chapters are very long and detailed. There are only 19 chpaters and it took me a whole night to read them all. I appreciate your apparent writing skill, and attention to detail I feel like I am learning about all of the characters of naruto not just the main character your ability to creat a world is mind blowing. Thank you author-san for this amazing work and please continue. 😀
tbh I came from the original writer of the first 8 chapters and I absolutely love them, but I wish he would complete them, the one writing from chapter 8 is good but he changed the mc emotions and personality alot, i prefer the haruki the original wrote about, his personality and depression goes well in the story but the person who adopted the story made haruki and other people personality change alot, I didn't read more than a chapter cuz I don't think I can complete the famfiction with such a major changes in it. I like the events.I know I shouldn't expect the same as the original writer but well if you wrote ur own fanfiction it would be better
I love this story. It is very sad but that makes it even better. One of the best Naruto fanfictions out there. Some aspects of the story make me think it is turning into a yaoi story between future naruto and kakashi but it could have been a fluke ... at least I hope so.

I love it I gave found it on almost all the sites I can just to read it again. I can't tell you how many times I've read it and it's one of my favorite naruto time travel books only down side is naruto from the future hiding whats wrong with him from everyone.
Just full speed reading it,and i regret it..But will keep it as my offline read later. Long chapter, love it. Great idea of making him go back but instead of kid Naruto,he turn into ***** Naruto...Love the paragraph,and the great grammar. Hope the stable release and great long chapter for future endeavors....
I remember this story on the pit lol. I believe it was one of the first I ever read, alongside Chunin Exam Day (totally conflicting stories I know). I remember waiting eagerly for the next chapter some days, and if I'm being honest I think it was one of the stories that made me start to prefer serious fan fictions. I do know that the author did give away the right to finish it (something that made me very sad) and I believe they would be okay with this crossposting you have done. As far as the story goes it has one of the best characterizations of the characters of Naruto that. I know. With believable arcs and realism that hits home, it is a great story. Beyond the occasional spelling mistake the story flows into a grim, but hopeful story. I recommend this to anyone looking for a Fan Fic from Naruto that lacks all the standard tropes of betrayal and hatred.
I can not say enough how much I love this novel. I am not knowledgeable on the consistency of the updates, but no other story I have read can rival the truly beauty and complexity of the fan fiction. Not only is it detailed and consistent, it is funny, inspirational, suspenseful, and surprising. This is a book I truly can not put down. I devour every chapter I find, to the point where I started reading on this provider after running out of chapters on Wattpad and rereading that 4 times. This story is better than any fan fiction or published novel I have ever read. The long detailed chapters are suspenseful and consistent, and they are slowly building up to an amazing spot. Things occur as they’d be expected to in real life, and the characters are both intelligent and insightful, and true to their cannon characters. I don’t think I could have found a more well written and exciting book to read. I can not stop thinking about it when I am at work, in car rides, or simply doing any other task. I wish it could be read aloud to me so that I could enjoy it even while I am busy doing tasks that require my hands and my eyes. I am inspired by the main character to work harder, more so than I was by the Naruto anime- and I loved the anime. I used to be convincing friends to watch Naruto because it was a good show I wanted to discuss with them, but now I want them to finish it simply so that they can read this story and contemplate it with me. It is a spectacular piece of art work and I would pay to read it. This has been a highlight of my summer and I am grateful I got the chance to read it.

This is good but boring to read. Why ? The chapters are libg but theres nothing readable on it that makes it exiting. Its like most of the chaptera talks about his daily life

I love the character in this. I don't think I have ever read a time travel fanfic better than this. Moreover, the chapters are long, and the plot is awesome. Also, it is realistic.
I believe this is one of the most heartfelt naruto fanfictions I've ever read. Good pacing with introducing characters from a pained perspective with more development than I would expect from established characters. Branches into side characters and really gives more life to the world of Naruto. I hope it is continued one day but is still worth the read.
