Synopsis
The Prestigious, The Elite. The number one academy in the whole world. Mors Aranea Acadamy, otherwise known as M.A.A.
Only five hundred students are specifically chosen to attend every year. In all of these five hundred I have been chosen to officially attend as a student at MAA. It’s an unbelievably amazing honour. Except for the fact that I am a mundane with no magical powers whatsoever and I only have the opportunity to attend is because bloody nepotism still exists.
I am Cassian Cato. I am a straight descendant of the great Calix Cato. One of the ten most powerful mages of old. He was a powerful mage who built the Cato Dukedom from the ground. He also helped immensely in the “ War Of Death” He helped us win against the greatest of evils and sent them straight back to hell, where they belonged. I have most of his blood in my veins. I should be a powerful mage yet, I’m not.
I am weak. I am powerless and I have no display of magic in my blood at all. Those were the words my father constantly told me. Those were the words I believed to be true.
My mother, Dorethea Cato believes that I will soon break the supposed seal on me. She says that I am to be one of the most extraordinary mages of my time. Though my father denies it blatantly.
I am now in my second year at MAA and I have yet to show any sort of magic.
One day after a group of students have finished their daily beating at me, I lay on the cold, hard ground of the yard behind the Academy as it starts to rain heavily. I have given up all hope.
Just as I am about to close my eyes forever, I feel an immense pain in my heart. I hear a voice calling to me. It tells me it is not my time to sleep yet and I wake up in my dorm with powers that have suddenly been unleashed.
I suppose mother was right….

This book will be portrayed in 3rd pov for the majority of the chapters but the synopsis only has a brief pov of Cassians life.

Chapter 1 was a bit boring but by chapter 2, I was fully immersed! Absolutely love this and cant wait to see more, cant believe its only ch 6 and its already amazing

I like the idea of the story and writing is good....but seeing the [1][2] didn't sit well with me but overall i like the story ....goodluck author-nim keep up the goodwork
A very interesting and intriguing work of art. I love the way you arranged the characters and the world background. this is so nice.i can't wait till next chapter is out.
The start of the story seemed prett dull to me but as the story progressed further and further, it got got interesting. The daily life of the main character is pretty common yet is admirable, because of your writing.
A really amazing novel. 1. Writing Quality: Completely exceptional, a lot better than most books on the platform. There are no spelling mistakes, and the grammar mistakes are few and far between, with maybe one every 3 chapters, really good for a new writer. 2. Stability of Updates: The stability of updates is a 4 star right now, the author updates every two days, and that's just not gonna cut it on Webnovel at least. The update rate had gotta be at least one a day if you want to have a fighting chance on Webnovel. 3. Story Development: It's pretty good so far, I have no qualms with it, but it's not exceptional either. Pretty mediocre. 4. Character Design: Again, pretty okay, the main character has a pretty generic back story that a lot of authors have used, but it's a good one, so once again, pretty much in the middle for me. 5. World Background: It's pretty unique in terms of the lore, but the academy is very reminiscent of some other ones, I'll be waiting for the unique part of the world background that you most definitely need to add in the future if you want to make your book stand out. A solid 4 stars. Overall, a really good novel that I absolutely love. If the author is able to updates consistently with this quality, I can see this novel getting up there. Good job author!
The book is eye catching, honestly it incredibly, I love the story development, it's a nice one,bis a book you want to read .it captivating.
While the start of the story may seem common to some, I must say that the story has a vibe different from others with a similar premise, the writer knows their grammar and I didn't notice any spelling mistakes during my read, the story develops a bit slowly as of now but it fits with the environment the MC is in, an academy, all in all, this novel seems very promising and seeing devellop further should be a treat.
The character development of the MC is amazing , a point that could attract readers . I'm into fantasy and I love your novel . I hope to see more new chapters from you . I wish there was such an academy in reality , I would love to join except for the bullies . You have my support , keep up with the good work .
Story is well developed. The writing style is good. Descriptions are spot on. MC's personality has a realistic hue to it, not just some edgelord with power. It's nice to have a character's personality based on reality (Principal). Overall, this is a good read. I look forward to future chapters!

The plot is nice, and world building is okay too. There are little errors in punctuation and that is nothing to worry about. In some places it would seem there should be more showing instead of telling. If the entire story is from Cassian's perspective then the third person might be a hinderance
Interesting story so far, beginning might seem a little boring but you'd ask more as you keep reading. Well paced plots. I suggest changing the way of writing conversations though. It has potential. Keep updating regularly author. Good luck.
