Synopsis
After making a few mistakes that ultimately lead to his untimely and rather gruesome demise, he finds himself reincarnated in the Land of Fire, or more specifically, the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Unknowing how or why he had ended up there, Shizuya will have to find a way to live in this violent world where bloodshed is common and conflicts are numerous with whatever little snippets of knowledge he could remember of that anime show. It doesn't help that he, a gay man, is surrounded by all these good-looking shinobi. Though, what's up with that silver-haired cyclops of a teacher that he has been assigned under? And what's with that feeling that things may not be as simple as they seem?
A few things you may need to know:
- If you haven't noticed it yet, this is a Yaoi/BL/MxM story (Pairing: Kakashi x Male OC)
- There will be an age gap (You have been warned; don't like it, don't read it)
- There will be strong language, graphic scenes, and maybe eventually smut at some point (I'm not sure about the latter, it'll depend on how confident I feel in my writing ability)
- This is my very first story, so please be patient with me (I may drop this if I deem the story's quality to be lacking)
- There will be no specific update schedule - If I feel like writing, I will (It also largely depends on how things will go in RL)
- My English is mostly self-taught so there will be mistakes

The writing in this fanfiction is generally satisfactory, but there's room for improvement in terms of paragraph structure. The text often presents as a daunting 'wall of text', which can be quite exhausting to read. Utilizing new lines more frequently to break up the text would greatly enhance readability. Regarding the integration of the main character into the existing canon, I feel there's a missed opportunity. The character doesn't seem to add significant value to the narrative. In adaptations like this, it's often said that it's better to "show, not tell," but in this case, when the storyline closely follows the original canon, a concise summary might be more effective. Additionally, the concept of a 'cat demon' doesn't quite blend seamlessly with the established elements of the story. It feels reminiscent of a typical Naruto plot device, lacking originality. I also have reservations about the age of the main character. While I understand that they are a reincarnated individual, a time skip in the story might be more appropriate, especially when considering romantic developments with significantly older characters. Speaking of romance, it currently feels a bit rushed. Allowing the romantic aspects to develop more slowly and organically could benefit the overall narrative. On a positive note, I really appreciate how the main character expresses himself. His unique voice and perspective are engaging and add a distinct flavor to the story. This aspect is one of the highlights and contributes positively to the fanfiction.

i like how you made shizuya like a cat just witout the ears and tail. i have a guess that maybe In the future he will have another form that turn him to have cat ears and tail (my idea is from the moment Naruto have that kyubi chakra around him that made him look like he have kurama's ears and tail)

I really enjoy this story, especially Shizuya's sarcasm, his comments and how he interacts with Kakashi. Kakashi himself appears to differ from the original to some extend. And if I'm to go by the hints drizzled about here and there, there seems to be some underlying background between the two which will probably revealed as the story progresses. Can't wait to see where this will go! Regarding the technicalities, there were maybe a handful of minor grammatical issues here and there, but it was nothing major and mostly unnoticeable unless you're specifically looking for it. The story has a nice flow to it, if a bit on the slower side in terms of progress. Things could move along a tad bit faster, though that's probably a personal preference of mine. All in all, well done baby cousin of mine. I'm proud of you.😘 (A totally not biased review btw 🤫)
