Synopsis

Landon was born forty years before the events in Sun and Moon in a slightly alternate timeline that takes place in the Alola region on the island of Melemele. His parents were both scientists studying the native Pokemon of the islands. When Landon was five, his parents took him on a trip to Aether Paradise, where he met Cosmog and bonded with it immediately. From then on, he always wanted to become a Pokemon trainer like his idol, Professor Kukui. When he turned ten, Landon finally got his chance to become a trainer, but in a freak accident, Landon was caught in a rock fall.
For the next 10 years, Landon would be trapped inside a coma, but there was more to the story then that. The location that Landon had been in turned out to be a top secret base for a special organization that has no name. The rock fall was caused by a tremor caused by temporal Gate being force shut after a strange metallic Pokemon tried to crawl though, but was pushed back. Before it was, it had scanned the area, and found Landon about to be killed, and sent a Nano Drone to deliver a special AI that what merge with the boy, and heal his body.
This would take time, and it had taken ten years of Landon laying in bed, but the Pokemon knew that this Trainer would one day be able to find it and free it. The AI would also give him special powers called a System that would be good for this boy because he was special, and he would be able to travel wormholes. And so, when Landon woke up from his coma, he had no idea what had happened, but he knew that he was changed.

This book is definitely a unique spin on the Pokémon fanfic genre. It takes what you know and flips it like a pancake, more or less! The cast is diverse from familiar faces to new faces, each with their own characteristics and bodies…(wink wink) The book contains several references to the games, which is always a plus in my book. Can’t wait to see what Landon’s final team will look like!
It is very good with a few caveats the mc is a little slow in the head at times. like let's say trying to escape an evil organization only to run to a lawless place with two more evil organizations when he could just open a portal to a different dimension or timeline (I'm still a little confused on this part.) also, lemons happen very quickly with his captures which I don't mind at all personally but I could see where many will feel like it's too fast. It's still in its infancy but I feel like around human women the mc is too submissive even after being in a coma for ten years. and having his mind crammed with information by an AI he acts similarly to a little boy with his mom or aunt figures being shy, blushing, and running away instead of taking a stand. and even at this first moment of defiance or self-respect he immediately throws it away and acts like a little pleaser. I really hope mc becomes more emotionally developed over the course of the story maybe a mature motherly woman can help straighten him and his eq defianceis out because that's really the only thing I dislike about this story so far is the mc's current disposition towards submissiveness. But all in all I really like this story and I hope we continue to get more and more chapters.

Really interesting concept that actually got me hooked into it for the plot that it made me forgot what i came here (wink~wink~). I am really enjoying the story and hope that you continue to write. The year is 2023, i have finally found a r18 pokefic in webnovel. Seriously, you can't go wrong with pokemon, this franchise has waaay too many high quality waifus, it's like an all-you-can-eat buffet. It always surprised me the fact that there are tons of anime fanfics out there but barely any from pokemon.
