I love how this novel was crafted, the theme, the world background and the descriptions. It is so worthwhile reading it. I was truly impressed, author. From the beginning, I couldn't stop reading, the action scenes were quite impressive. I can say that you really have a way with words, I mean, I could imagine the world you created with great detail. I have to say the author's skill in writing action is amazing. I can imagine the battlefield and intensity when reading it. Honestly, I thought that Celeste will be the MC at first before realizing that Vincent's screen time was longer haha. (Please forgive this humble reader 😭) The author's way of showing the scenes through his/her writing is good. One thing I want to comment on would be how the characters talk and interact felt a bit unnatural but I can't put my finger on it as to why. (Again, I'm sorry 😅) But overall, it is a very thrilling story and Vincent's character as the MC was unique. Keep up the good work!
Even at the start it was amazing, I'm not a big fan of dark fantasy, but your novel got me hooked very quickly, can't wait for more chapters to come.
The descriptions and world building are truly second to none here . The characters are alive and dynamic. Instantly my favourite book on this site.
Overall : The story plot was greatly amazing, it was really engaging to read and the pace/flow of the story was constant and smooth. There were amazing words used in the story and the author has their way with words! Writing quality : the writing of the story had little to no mistakes made! Updating : there’s no problem with the updates, they are on track and it’s great! Characters : the characters I’ve seen were all well written and were also described in much details, making them imaginable in the brain! They were interestingly unique, the persona of each character was different in a way that brings out their each uniqueness to the story! World background : the world was great! The creativity was there and it is hard to come up with the right words to describe the background but the author nailed it!! It was well written too! My thoughts : personally I don’t read much of dark fantasy action novels but this book was awesome! It is definitely a hidden gem that is able to soar high! I liked the book and hope to see more of the great work so keep it up and good job author!! ✨✨
Read 10 chapters as of now. Really liked the characterisations(even though I morally didn't like them😅 especially selena) and battle scenes. Flawless pacing and not-so-confusing narration and the world building, this novel ticks all the boxes and I really look forward to new chapters.
The plot is unique and interesting to read. The Character is engaging and the way it's written is good. Hope the author will update with stable chapters
I love the title of this book, the diction in it and its world background. The author has really done a good job. I hope the author continues this way.
Overall, this has a rich story to tell and broad plot given its title and theme. World Background is good. It's difficult to create your own universe especially with supernatural beings. Author did a great job with constructing his universe. Story is fast-paced. It has a strong first chapter and the preceding chapters had a lot of action, as in fighting action which was narrated in good detail. Character design though could be a bit stale at times. There was a difficulty in the distinction of characters. Introduction of characters could be improved when they have a unique distinction. In an omniscient POV style writing, only the author's thought of the character is perceived so it's quite a challenge. Writing quality overall is good. I like the play on words, a romanticist style but not too much. Exposition is just right in each chapter to put the vibe of the setting. Only issue I found was sometimes, since there are many characters, it's difficult to follow what's going on. Tip on this, even if it the POV was from the author, you can put yourself in the main character or main POV (in that chapter), that way, readers can perceive the things in the story, the way that character does. Also helps with character design disctinction. I don't have a problem with update stability as long as the chapters are of good quality. Keep writing!
Author Review here. Well of course I am gonna rate my own novel 5/5 So anyway, it is a Lovecraftian horror-inspired medieval Dark Fantasy novel. Some of the key plot points to mention here. -Antihero Protagonist (Borderline Villain at times). -Protagonist is a father from the start. -Complex side characters and antagonists. -A Living Breathing World where every character has their own passion, goals and desires. -Kingdom building elements. -Swords and Magic. - And most importantly...Dragons! Give this novel a try if you are a fan of Epic Medieval Fantasy stories.
