Synopsis
An Overlord Fanfiction
The protagonist, Mc, was betrayed by the world and his expectations, which led to his death. After meeting a being called ROB, Mc played a game with him to obtain cheat abilities. ROB then transported Mc to a world, from where he would get isekai'd to another world - Overlord.
Mc is a dreamer who can be both kind and cold when necessary. He follows Machiavelli and Chanakya and is a fan of horror and Lord of the Mysteries. The story will begin with Mc having no powers related to Lord of the Mysteries, but he will try to build his guild based on LOTM themes. His NPCs will mainly be from Fate, LOTM, and other popular fiction works.
Mc's in-game character's powers and events could be inspired by other Overlord fan fiction.
Note: This is an AU Overlord world. The AU part is Mc reincarnating as Bruce Wayne in Gotham of 22nd century of Earth in Overlord verse. The first volume is for Character development and doesn't affect much of your reading experience if you decide to skip it. The first volume is Batman Vs Joker, so you can skip it. If it's not to your taste. Batman[MC] and Joker are the only DC characters in this fic. The Batman arc will be over with the first volume. The second Volume is purely a Yggdrasil Game experience. There isn't much real-life experience shared in the second volume. 22nd-century Earth is a normal world with no magic or supernatural elements. Everything is the same as the original Overlord world. Except for there being Gotham in America and Bruce Wayne in it. Even the Joker is not the same as the comic version, at least his back story.
You can skip from the fourth chapter of the First Volume to not miss out on the development of his wishes and the main base of the story.

Really enjoyed it I hope for more in the future, though don't overwork yourself if you are already.
The overall premise of the story is great. Hope you continue this novel. Starting two characters look great.
for one I think you should have added comedy to the tags interesting main character but I'm pretty sure he's insane you might want to add a crack warning or maybe that's just the beginning of the story I don't know what you going to do with it later oh well I found that it's a pretty interesting read
I have high expectations for this fanfic. Rarely have I seen LotM fanfics as most only contain a few chapters. So for my impressions. I can't really state any definitive comment as I have only read 10 chapters but so far it has been interesting. The MC is okay and is kinda likable, plot is straightforward, as for side characters I can't really say much as I'm still 10 chapters in and his interactions with others are rare. No glaring grammar and spelling flaws. The word count is also long which makes every chapter a worthwhile read. Overall, a satisfying and interesting read so far, really hoping that this continues and shape into a more interesting story as I can see so much potential. Kudos to the author, you are doing well and I really hope that this story will last for a long time. 9.6/10 for me as of chapter 10 tldr: Pros: >MC is not an idiot at least >Has LotM elements >Word count per chapter is long >No Glaring Grammar and Spelling mistakes >Straightforward Plot Cons: >Due to the Straightforward Plot established in the premise it can get predictable but predictable plot doesn't always mean bad execution. As long as the author executes the plot well and introduces characters and worlds with depth it should be fine.

A great Fanfic, don't drop it. It is recommended to anyone who likes Overlord, Fate and Lord of the Mysteries. At least that's what the author implies but so far the story progression is good and the pacing is fine. Upto chapter 3, the MC has arrived at the Overlord universe to the Earth of the 22nd century. He still has a year before the game's release, I hope you write a few chapters or an arc just about the game, while not going into too much detail but just the overview. Upload an auxiliary chapter, about his character sheet and other powers of Mc. Also, upload any special weapon he is going to create or use in it, and if possible with the layout of the guild he is going to build or join.

I like the start and I like the concept of two high fantasy worlds with different eldritch beings interracting. Like while Momonga was a human, the longer he stayed in the Overlord body, the lower his morals started to drop and with LotM Sequence systems, the higher you go, the more you have to anchor yourself to not lose your humanity. I see great potential in this, hope you keep this fanfic going and deliver us something great.
