Synopsis
To stop the poison from consuming the world, you have to consume the poison itself.
First and foremost, do not be deceived by thinking he's barely the vessel of the Eye, and without the Eye, he's just another Guardian.
Even before the Eye chose him, he showed what he was made of, and he was capable enough to uproot cancer. Unfortunately, the world never remembered that tale.
Elior lost everything in the last war, comrades, friends, and love. But he was granted a second chance to correct all his errors and embark on his path to stop Chaos again.
After regressing 12 years in the past, Elior started his journey from the Institute of Earth's Guardians again.
But this time he won't be the Messiah, the hope of the world, as his Godmother wanted. As he knows, the world does not need another Messiah, but a REAPER.

Disclaimer: The Mc is naive in the beginning even though he's regressed, the reason behind all that was that he didn't have full access to his memory. So he acts like a teenager mostly, with high values and morals that he barely might be able to keep.
There's an issue with mc not ready to hit a woman, it's poorly done in the beginning chapters, there's bigger reason behind it in later parts.

This is a re-review and one with some honesty. First of all the story turned into something else than I intended, and it was actually worse in some parts than my first. I made the mc edgy for the sake of him being edgy. Elior is almost a character without flaws but I made him somewhat a hypocrite intentionally. The worldbuilding was dull, and honestly, I have saved up a few things for later parts. which turned out to be a bad decision. The writing quality is poor, and you will expect a lot of typos. If you don't fear it then feel free to continue. As for the story development and plot, it is above average with a few nice fight scenes, here and there. and the main idea of the book is pretty good. Like my other book, this one got its voice in the chapter 70s. Honestly, I still think the book is better than many on this site with all those flaws. Continue if you like and leave behind comments.
Didnt even read the story because the story sounds stupid. He goes back in time to fix his misstakes yet he cant remember anything? How is he gonna fix anything. Just start the novel with him at the acamedy no need for him to go back in the past. Cant say if this novel is good or bad. Maybe the synopsis is just misleading and the author meant something else?
SUGGESTION: READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE READING THE STORY SO AS NOT TO SPREAD TOO MUCH HATE AND INSULTS ON THE BOOK AND MC LATER( LIKE I DID). those are the comments i wrote hope they ll make u understand a bit about the mc mentality: "...aizz i just need to know if he ll change his stupid belief or find a compromise because as he is now he s just AN idiot. not saying he should go around killing women but to not even touch them while brutally handling men(like literally almost causes two men to force each other)...that s ridicoulous and make him much more of a shut in edgelord that takes women as something sacred(mega simp) than he would have been behaving normally" "...i ve seen ur review now moral compass is absolutely flawed as his thought process is not normal as u commented. for the typos and ecc u barely notice them as i focus more on the story than the grammar itself . still while it presents an interesting(?) new approach to some, for many others the story just gets impossible to immerse in as i said before his thought process is not something many can immerse in unless u a shut in, that idolizes women with anime girl pillows and figurines." if u still want to read it? good for u. if not? glad i saved some of ur time.
overall the story is very well rounded, but I feel that a couple changes could make all the difference. What I feel are those changes are 1. the fight scenes should be longer ( not more descriptive, as in more back and forth) and 2. you should add pov's to other characters ( your choice on how long)
This book would have potential but in my point of view...🚶 For one MC can fight with beings that are waaaaaay stronger than him yet his strength is at level 6! like WHAT????!!!!!!! Secondly the imbalance between his stats is just a joy like...let me explain am a chap 47 and throughout the whole time he only adds points to he's intelligence 😡 yet he's so fast and defits beings stronger than him. Yes I know 😃 it helps his mana but isn't strength agility and whatnot required and I think that's one of the reasons this book is lagging so much Also what is this no gender balance. MC doesn't fight women like I get be respectful but he's in a world of dog bite dog a woman can kill , fight and does many more to men and vice versa can happen yet MC does fight women 🤨🙄 Honestly I come & go cause I need FP & also am bored but this novel would have done better but it lacks alot . I personally wouldn't have continued this book but the more read the more you think about it .I hope MC improves not only psychically but mentally too Tho he reincarnated he's stupid 😐anyways I hope I get I reply cause I need some motivation to continue.but it isn't a bad book just would never make it to top 50

This story requieres...patience As long as you're fine dealing with a naive and heroic Mc for 10's of chapters As well as fine with side character's acting more like the protagonist than the mc himself Including a bit of gruelling frustration at the main characters action all for the sake of 'proper development ' Then go ahead. This book is defenitly for you
This is a decent novel having "magic" in a modern society. Unfortunately like most such novels it suffers from some glaring plot holes. In the end I found the "trial 1" chapters to be very boring more than anything else, and coupled with the plot holes caused me to drop it at around chapter 140 even though I had been only skimming through those trial chapters. First off about the other reviews on MC and his personality. In my opinion it is quite good like a normal human, and you will have problems with that only if you prefer the psychotic MCs of modern chinese xianxia. Coming to the plot holes, the most glaring ones are those trials. Putting completely untrained teenagers, including just video gamers, in life and death scenarios in trial-0 (they would not really die though most participants don't know that) in a jungle against beasts and all is totally stupid. You will not filter out strong willed people like that, rather psychotic killers who have been killing since childhood. Also you see some upper world fellows abusing some "loophole" (though we are never told what that is) to enter the trials, yet the organizers do zilch about it nor invoke any deterrence. In other words, if not for the appearance of MC, the trials are just places for upper world fellows to cheat and sweep away, losing the whole point of the trials. The appearance of MC is also a cheat but let's ignore that. Then the second trial is even more stupid. Most participants have been training in the academy which is just regular studies, training and competitive fights but there is absolutely zero preparation for what they have in trial-1. So essentially these are again untrained teenagers put in this trial of "courage" or whatever. In real life the only result of such a trial will be creating fellows with deep traumas and unstable personalities, the kinds of which most modern armies will immediately expel. Lastly my pet peeve on such modern setups though most readers seem to prefer it. Swords, spears, bows in a super advanced Earth. Give me a break. By any standard of logic magic infused guns, snipers, explosives and all will be far far superior. Just shows lack of imagination in conceptualizing modern weapons with magic/cultivation stuff, let alone futuristic weapons. Authors seem to be just following the classic cultivation novels rather than thinking about what such a post modern setup can actually look like.
I really like where this is going and can’t wait to see how the characters develop im personally into a little more descriptive and i guess you can word it in a nice way when it comes to The action But even despite that this is already one of my favorite reads

It is quite an enjoyable read. I heavily recommend it to anyone who is interested in a sci-fi-esque novel. 5/5 on all aspects for me. Keep up the amazing work author, I am loving it.

It's an interesting story as far as I went, but I can't continue reading it, the grammar and syntax are killing me. It takes all the joy away from me and ruins the immersion in it. It's like I can understand the story while at the same time can't and it ticks me off. If author gets a proof reader or improves later on, I will come back, probably..

Captivating synopsis that gives you enough info to keep wondering what this novel's going to deliver. Great worldbuilding obviously. The world is told through Elior's eyes which in itself was natural. Nothing felt rushed, but this was also not a slow burned novel by any means. Think of it as being in the middle, giving you the reader a chance to know what this world is like. Characters are well established and solid, each having their own identity in early chapters. Can't wait to see how they develop even further. Elior himself is a breath of fresh air when we're talking protagonists, different from the other protagonists of books I've read on this site. Sure he's got things going on, but he faces them regardless. A balanced out character if you may based on the chapters I've read so far. This novel has a lot of things going on; comedy, mystery, action, adventure, as well as system and a dash of seriousness, that Elior has something to fight for. Recommended for anyone who's a fan of one of the novel tags, or all of them.
