Synopsis
Cal realizes that his average reincarnation in a parallel world isn't so average after all and sets off to become the best multiverse traveler to ever exist.
No cheats? No problem, meta knowledge is the biggest cheat of them all!
Bargaining with mythical monsters, hunting fascist librarians, stealing from time travelers, befriending elder dragons, threatening gods and hoarding every last plot device till any semblance of canon is completely derailed; Cal will stop at nothing to get what he wants. May the Old Gods have mercy on any soul that decides to stand in his way for he has none.

This is a Magicians crossover fic. For those who haven't seen Magicians, it is a TV series and book series written by Lev Grossman. This fic will be based on the TV show which has four seasons. Yes, you heard me right, four. I refuse to acknowledge the flaming trash pile that was season five except to get that one plot device.
Prior knowledge of the series is not necessary as I will explain everything as the MC discovers it but having prior knowledge would be recommended.
This is a multiverse fic so he will visit other worlds like Arifureta, Harry Potter and DXD once he creates his own multiverse travel device.
MC will not start with any magic or powers and will have to earn them all with smarts and hard work. It will be a relatively slow start.
MC is not pure evil, so don't expect him to start punting babies for fun but he's willing to do whatever he needs to in order to become a magician. He's chaotic neutral and very pragmatic.
Also, this will have no romance, so if you're here for that, tough tiddies. Asexual MC all the way, baby!

most of these reviews are true but one update stability is not but this time I am putting it cause of what the author can do not what he has not done he has exel3nt grammar original stories and some cool ideas he was.able to show how someone was influenced by their upbringing in a wonderfully way he also has a wonderfull Grasp on the theory wich I kind of disagree on some like how significant something could be but otherwise is perfect and I even love how he showed the character misremembering how thing happened on the show by mixing thing that happen on different timelines assuming of course he was not talking about the books I just can't wait for the next chapter and how he will influence the story the character and brakebills and hopefully he can bring this 5 stars to life

hey author just wanted to ask can you have mc go to star wars since that counts as magic and there is other kinds of magic that involve the force energy and what not also maybe have mc be asexual at most times but please just have a single love interest like Magik from marvel lol.
Author has no idea what an antihero is. Zero clue. No romance. Just right in the morally questionable spot that seems to be so popular for fanfics nowadays. Zero to no meaningful relationships. Only thing special about the book is the world chosen.
Just dropping this review here, will wait until there a couple more chapters before I read but having read your previous work I have no doubt it will be great. Once I do read it I'll come back and alter this review.

Awesome to see a fanfic about The Magicians, it was a really great series that has great potential. Hope you keep writing it author

I'm so freaking excited about this! I hope this goes on forever because I doubt I'll find another SI of The Magicians. Plus this is good quality so my day is made.
