Synopsis
What happens when the walls you had built to shut out the world are the only things keeping you safe from a zombie apocalypse? Meet Ethan Parker, a stay-at-home freelancer who thought he had life figured out. Working from home, avoiding the outside world, and living in a self-created sanctuary, Ethan's lifestyle was perfectly designed for isolation. But when the undead began to roam and society unraveled, he found himself unprepared for the chaos closing in.

Ohh, love love this genre, this description is top notch but overall nothing beats a good story, I'm glad you could add both to make this a good read. ..
The portrayal of the character in a situation of a zombie infestation is truly realistic. I like the fact that he feels more human than most zombie apocalypse movies who had plot armors. All I can say is good job!
The build-up to which this happens makes this book worthwhile, in my opinion, with a good plot that continues onwards with the book.

I've only read the first few chapters, but I think that's enough to get a decent feel for now. The writing quality is great, and updates are steady. The story seems to come along at a good enough pace, I think it is a little slow at the start but that isn't necessarily a bad thing depending on what the writer is going for. The world background is tremendously made. The environment and appearance of characters could use more visual description to flesh out the scenes. To the writer: I welcome you to read and analyze my fanfic "Avatar: Lingering Tensions". It is a sequel to "Avatar: Macai's Journey" however, reading the 1st chapter of AMJ could give you some basic context if you are unfamiliar with the storyline.
The story is captivating and the character very well rounded. The author did a terrific job.
The description was spot on and the write up was impeccable. The concept is good, and the character was relatable. Very addicting. The grammar is good that it makes me want to read more, thumbs up! Highly recommended!
The MC's (Ethan's) character is very relatable and understandable. His character development and the depiction of the ruined world around him is very accurate and vivid, thanks to author-san's outstanding writing abilities. The narrations are not oppressive at all when I'm reading. I find myself enthused by the imagery and the flowing storyline. The necessary dialogues also helps to build the narrative and they don't feel unnecessarily squeezed in at all. There have been zero errors in writing, as far as I've read, which is rare to find these days. Conclusively, I do believe that this story has tons of potential, which makes it a hidden gem in every way. It is highly recommended to lovers of apocalyptic settings or weak-to-strong protagonists.
