Synopsis
After making a bet with the owner of the Velvet Room. The God of Control decides to cheat by changing the soul of the Trickster who is supposed to defeat him. Placing another soul into the protagonist of Persona 5 Royal.
Follow Ren Amamiya, the impostor, as he slowly begins to spread his influence. All in an act to bring entertainment to those who are watching his actions. And maybe, in order to do something more, hiding his actions in plain sight to those who observe him.
With the assistance of his persona, Tartuffe. he will be able to see through the masks that humanity wears. Gaining a deeper insight into those around him.
~Now, onto the part where the author talks about the story~
To those familiar with Persona 5, my goal for this story is to create a new version of what happens in the game rather than basically rewrite everything. That includes the way the confidants develop, as well as the way the story progresses.
For those unfamiliar, I also try to explain everything in a way that you will be able to follow along even if you have never played Persona 5, though I highly recommend the game to anyone who hasn't played or watched a playthrough of it.
Yes, it will have the harem and the R18 in the future. However, unlike novels that are 90% lemon, and he gets the girls two chapters after meeting them, the story and romance will progress at an actually reasonable pace. So, the relationships with each person will develop naturally as they do in the game.
Lastly, I want to talk about the three pillars of this story, which are the confidants, the Metaverse, and the mix of both. For the last one, I mean chapters in which one of the confidants is developed while also learning more about the Metaverse and the mystery surrounding it. Throughout the story, I will try to weave the three of them as best as I can in order to capture the appeal of the game.

So fa so good, the MC has an interesting twist in his personality and doesn’t have the usually “webnovel self insert” archetype where” HE MUST have all the girls NOW! and there is nothing else he must concentrate on!” Type and instead goes into Persona world with a little bit of hesitation and caution. I like the approach he had so far with the cast and the author isn’t copy paste the game plot into the story so I’m expecting great content in the future. Now, if only would the author consider romancing the demon Angel… xD
This fic is pretty much perfect. 5 star biasness for this being a persona fic as well as its one of, if not, my fav game series. Pls don't drop this author otherwise i'll cry lol
Very interesting it is a very different take from other Persona 5 royal fanfic and the MC is very different from the original and very unique can wait to see what comes next and look forward to where the author takes the story.
it's very rare to find persona fic, and very good one too.. are these fic only include P5R? or maybe you can add some character from P3 and P4?

This is one of the best stories I’ve ever read, and I’ve read a lot. This is prob top 10.
Every now and then a fic comes along that takes from the source material, respects it, and makes it's own completely original standing next to the original. rarely but it happens. 6/5 stars easy.
I'm really enjoying this novel, the pace is excellent, I hope it doesn't end up abandoned like other novels that I liked, great work, author.

Very interesting so far, very cool take on Ren as a performer, which is a trickster from a different angle. Hope to see Ryuji if he ever joins them.

Best book of this piece of media, props to the author for not only using this amazing world, but because his changes and ways of telling the story are just really interesting and fun to read.
I finished the entire novel in 1day, that already should show you what I think about it. maybe a bit slow (for my taste) but that's a personal opinion.
A hidden gem. I found this being recommended to me; knowing that it’s a persona fic and how rare they are, it was only right that I took a gander. I’m glad to say that it’s exactly what I hoped for and then some. The only thing I wish for are more chapters; even then, the author seems to keep a good update schedule.
Been waiting for a persona fanfic and now its here. To my surprise it's not an op wishfulfilment/copy of the OG persona. The author is making his own story and from what can see the dialogues are well developed and natural to read. I don't have any issues picturing the characters and the immersion in it is great. Can't wait to see how the author changes the persona world and makes his own version of the game.
