I'm gonna copy paste someone's review from Comrademao(mtl). The ocean is home to a vast amount of resources, and fishermen run to the sea risking their lives. the world seems simple at a glance. But is it truly just as its facade? The conspiracy looms over the world. This is a pure adventure cultivation novel. The world is definitely not as simple as it seems. Beyond the training fisheries under the control of towns and cities lies a vast uncharted grounds - the endless seas. Most of which remains obscure this novel is a box of secrets ... there are secrets and mysteries waiting to be uncovered . What happened 30 years ago, what happened in the distant past and how that affects the present and directs the future. The humor is well done, especially mc and his antics ... One of the best FML in a chinese novel so far, she is lively cute independent and dangerous. she may prolly be the only female lead who likes to attack mc for no reason at all ... (mc is a body refiner and his defence is op, the fml likes to puncture mc with her dagger) But can only pierce like an inch due to his op defence , she never gives up even after they become couple ... when mc asks why - she says because she likes how the dagger stabs the flesh. Both the MC and FML like fighting and robbing. The author has taken some inspirations from DD1, OP, etc > Use coins to unlock at least 1 chapter to be counted as 'Fans' so they'd be pick this up quicker.
Really good read! Give it a try, it's about cultivating in a very interesting world where fishermen ( the whole society) are cultivators. The world building is fascinating and the characters are well developed. Hope it will get picked fast.
Mediocre. The concept was interesting. But the execution was very bad. MC is pathetic and un-likable. The characters are not developed at all. World-building is sub-par at best. The main flaw is the MC. He does not have any intelligence at all. And only survived till now due to plot armor. His behaviour is like a child who found a new toy.
MC is said to be an veteran treasure hunter in past life but all I can see is that MC is an idiot who never uses his brain and writer have not explained clearly about mc's cultivation in the story

The author tries to make the system look impresive in a very artificial way by means of fake limits and obstacles. There's a limit placed in the spirit points(?) and it's ignored in the same chapter it is introduced. The points are a currency that can be stolen without any effort and completely unnoticed, at least until much later, probably.
(It's from my perspective so if you disagree well i can't do **** to change your mind... can i? There will be some spoilers so........) Even tho i like the fishing thing in the novel it turns into Cultivation novel. Where he goes to from village to town. And there he joins a stupid school that everyone looks down on but was most powerful one. At school he finds out his talent isn't so great after all. It happens in like 140-50th chapter.

ok so... 1.Translation Quality, not the greatest but not bad a lot of mixed up names and also wrong words used in some sentences etc but still better than MTL 2. Stability of updates, of updates so far are ok but also not that great and i say that because we get 2 chapters a day which is good but those chapters are 12 hrs apart which might as well feel like 1 chapter a day. 3. Story Development, so far story's pacing is pretty good that's all. 4. Character Design, the characters in the story so far are good and not as annoying as other stories. 5. world background, as of chapter 80 not much is known of the world we know of very few locations and those are only briefly mentioned. 6. as for why i gave this novel a 1 star is to more effect the overall value that it currently has, we got people just throwing out 5 stars without actualling judging the novel etc so i think people need to throw out 1 stars to counter said people that think everything is gold
This was a terrific short read during the trial period, absolutely love the concept and world building whilst the characters are quite excellent as well. Hope this one makes it guys or we might be losing a gem
Really good read at first but after Tang Ge left, it became gradually worse. What I dislike the most is how MC is treated in his school, where he's basically their slave. He got to tank all of the attack (even though someone got a turtle contracted beast mind you). He's got to do all the cooking (Although he accepts that, the other actually thinks it's a RIGHT. Even the teacher that ask the other student to go in seclusion EXCEPT for MC because he's got to do the food)

MC is supposed to be a "veteran adventurer" but keeps making stupid decision like a 5 year old. MC was warned to not go beyond 3 meter, proceed to think "Eh, what can go wrong?", proceed to go beyond 3 meter, met some kind of disaster, almost died cause he's weak af, BOOM, plot armor. Now, does that look like someone who's supposed to be a veteran adventurer?? Like I get it's a different world, but that shouldn't make you STUPID.
Willing to give it a try just because of the author’s pen name. That’s one talented pig to do wolf howls. Title also reminds me of Fishing the Myriad Heavens.
chapter 153 fucking ruined the book for me, the whole city arc so far has been dog**** compared to the rest, but when he gave 40% of his company to a guy for renting his fucking field for growing crops for the food, and another 40% to his friends, while only keepping 20? I'm fucking done. if your **** at business, just don't fucking add numbers, literally just gloss over this ****, if this is the MC I'm not reading this book, imagine tanking a book in 20 chapters, MC is literally a doormat who doesn't make decisions himself, he never tries to get any favourable conditions, he literally volunteers to get shafted in every fucking deal, and gives away so much ****

I gave it a try because the reviews were like a cult following, so how could i not? The MC is dumb doing a dumb thing, simple as that. I was curious how the cultivation world would look like if you were a fisherman but he is the BEST. You take lightly of the statement when reading it since you probably had a hunch it’d end up the way it did but you had a hope that not everyone would be a fisherman. Anyways right out the gate everyone are children who compete like cultivators through fishing. There is so much in the story you have to just assume or not everything will be okay. Check it out, a lot of people like it for some reason so it must be me who didn’t understand its charm.

Brain dead MC with an indestructible plot armor. People says don't go more than 3 meters deep (because its very dangerous) but he does anyway. Butts in to other peoples business for no reason and the only thing he gains is enemy. Has an opportunity to learn skills ; he chooses the books based on their names. Not even opening the book to check out the descriptions or anything. Not to mention author making mc's soul beast look like a joke so that others can mock him. OH and mc never questions about the world he lives in, techniques that he's using.(If you don't know, ask your teacher... smh) Don't bother reading this.....100ch+

Interesting concept It was good until he became a friend for benefit in his new school the fourth academy where he keep giving money to his so called friends then when it come to fighting and dangerous place he got to be in the most dangerous place ... Just why did he go there in the first place
So hooked... can't wait for this to release more chapters. Definitely my favourite novel right now... A must read if u like cultivation and battling monsters
