Synopsis
Mark Williams is not a monarch, nor a ruler. He was not chosen by some omnipotent being to become its successor. He´s just a guy that awakened as a hunter with quite a unique ability and who does his best to live his life like he wants to.
This fanfic takes place in America 5 years before the start of Solo Leveling. There are a lot of original characters so keep in mind that it will take a while for the Mc to meet the canon characters.

The story takes place 5 years before the start of Solo Leveling in America. Big part of it will be original with new characters so just keep that in mind if its not your thing.
ok. so where should I start. first, the story has decent pacing and an interesting power for the mc. it's still the first 20 chapters so nothing too interesting has happened. just world-building and the mc discovering how to use his magic effectively in situations. there is no good solo levelling fanfic on this platform, as far as I have seen. so I hope you don't drop. this fanfic has good potential.
almost perfect so far. writing quality 4 star background 4 star only because for 5 star I expect a lot of original content to bring new life to a story I have already read to make sure the story doesn't become boring. i recommend creating your own novel with the same character powers and overall being it has some good potential. i have thought about similar powers in my mind and waited for someone to create something similar. overall a good story so far Chapter 16
I left this to read for later and I can say this story is good. We at least don't have random asian names which makes impossible to understands who is who . The good thinks of this story is a MC that uses his brain and creates and invents new methodes. I would have loved if he was reincarnated from our earth knowing the fate of the world , it could have added a bit more content. 5/5 story.
Pretty good all in all. Quality is good and it all flows pretty nice. The OCs while everywhere are also not that big of a deal. All in all a good story with a unique twist on a Mage/ wizard MC Stuff that wasn't that great: 1. The MC character profile is inconsistent in the later chapters, and since this all revolves around the Lucy OC i find her kinda anoying just for that alone. 2. a Filler chapter where there is only a bit of dialogue and moving into a new apartment is boring and kinda pointless. It doesn't have to be action always but a chapter that is only moving is frustrating. 3. The first book could be in any world Since the MC haven't reincarnated, is in a time before the plot and is in a different country we have up until now basically little to no reference that this is the solo leveling world. It could infact be one of the dozen other Korean Novels of the same type, and it would fit without a Problem. It doesn't take away from the story at all, it's still fun to read and the Magic system is very unique in the way the MC uses it for this world but not once in the whole first book did i think.... "hey that's the Solo leveling world" i though more inline with " hey that's a random world with dungeons in modern time." like I said the story is still great and I would recommend it

A good Solo leveling fanfic where the MC has a cool magic grimoire that he can make spells for any situation in. Wish he interacted with known characters more though.
I actually love the idea of making his own spells! I think that this a really amazing book, and I really hope it isn't dropped.I think that it should be continued!
