Synopsis
The gods died a millennia ago.
Cultivators of Ulreon seek power, and dominion over what remains after the Divine Genocide, using the Fate System crafted by powerful entities to realize their ambitions.
Amongst them, Erik Basara, son of a dreaded Norse cultivator family, travels back in time to claim the honor and glory he had been denied.
Born again in a violent clan, thirsting for greater heights, Erik will use his knowledge of the future and the Fate System to thread a new path with his fists assisted by his shamanic powers.
However, he is not the only regressor.

Please Read:
1° The story starts grim dark, for about three chapters, then opens up to other tones. For instance, there'll be friendship, a bit of romance, kingdom building, beast taming starting at chapter 31 (or sooner depending on your pov), and other additions that might not be present till later in the story but are already planned.
2° EDITED: There'll be 1 chap per day for five days a week (no chaps on the weekend), each between 1500 words and +2000 words. More chaps for mass release or other events. As of chapter 27, we're already at 50K words which are around 200 pages of content.
3° This is a cultivation story with litrpg/system elements. It'll be a mix of both genres.
4° The overall pace will be fast, by my standards, though not rushed. The first 3 chaps take their time to introduce the world and the MC, but the pace picks up in chapter 4.
5° The System and Cultivation aspect is introduced in chapter 3
6° I hope you'll like this story I poured time and effort into. Though it's fine if you don't, we all have different tastes after all.
7° To those that have read my other works, they are on hiatus until I finish this book, which should take around 500 chaps perhaps more if additional content is added. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
8° If you've read thus far, you are a brave soul, and have my congratulations.

This novel is great, especially for Webnovel. World building is probably the greatest part of this novel, world feels alive together with people living in it, the world doesn't revolve solely around MC. Power system is interesting, thought it's not yet explored enough to give definitive assessment of its quality and uniqueness. Fight scenes are made right, you really feel the rush that characters go through. Character design is good. Characters are distinctive and feel alive. Update stability is good, with at least 1 chapter per day. Overall, it's a great novel, you should read it.
Novel is amazing! The world building so far has been great along with character design. It really gets your emotions going and you feel attached to the characters. The power system is also nice and unique with great potential.

A new fantasy novel by the masterful Yoan Roturier! The author's skills shine through the detailed and immersive world-building. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the action scenes and battles so vividly brought to life and as easy to imagine as if you're watching a movie. A must-read for sure!
The novel is very well written especially in terms of language skills and world background. As I kept reading the chapters I could literally feel the emotions and the tense atmosphere of the novel. The dialogue delivery is very good as well and the last additional para as an extra info is like a cherry on top. Best of luck author for the WSA Competition.
The writing is at its best! I love the way the prologue immediately grabs you in without any sort of warning. It puts you in the mix of the fight already.
I've read a few chapters. Vikings, Vikings, Vikings... It was as if I found myself in a global modification of the Skyrim video game. Moreover, the book is compiled as a report on the actions in a video game. Since I'm a fan of classical genres, it confuses me a little, but you can get used to it. In general, not bad. The world is strict, epic and gloomy, all the heroes are in their places, the main character Erik has simple and understandable goals, he does not rush to save the world like a comic book hero, but strives to achieve very specific goals. Alas, the motivation of the higher forces that brought the protagonist back to life remains unclear. Perhaps this will be explained in later chapters. The narration is good - the author's language is simple, concise and clear, you will not fall asleep while reading.
The first chapter of this story is already so epic! The MC fighting is so cool and good, I love the synopsis and also the description of the character. Nice job author![img=recommend][img=recommend]
After 8 chapters so far, I've really enjoyed this story. The world building and Norse cultivator system is super well done. Really thorough. It feels familiar but still unique, I can see this story doing well for that reason. By the end of the first action sequence, I was hooked. The MC's weapon choice is awesome, and it fits really well into the Norse mythology of the authors world.

You can definitely see that this book is written by a seasoned author, i can't think of better writing that this, especially for a story like this. I really loved reading the first few chapters, and jesus, the first one was action packed already, i really love the duality of emotions the reader feels while reading it, splendid work!

Really enjoying the book so far and can’t wait to see where the story goes. The world building is great and really pulls you in. Would 100% recommend giving the book a try.
A hidden gem - at least for now it seems - already shining bright in the first few chapters. The only warning: you will catch up all too soon...
good original work doesn't have the typical choice of weapons for main characters and an easy cultivation system to follow going to keep reading as long as the chapters keep coming.

He will learn and grow along the way, his personality WILL a bit as he learns more about himself and the world he lives in. 6° There'll be lore extracts I added to the end of most chapters, their purpose is to give you new info, clarify a few things without stopping the story for info dumps, set the tone, or just random stuff at times.
