Eastern fantasy with pirates! Not to mention a revenge story and female lead. Also it has pirates. MC seems intelligent from the first few chapters too. Did I say it has pirates? Yes, it has PIRATES.

Well, I'm only three chapters in and wow, do I have a lot to say. This is a story and opens bold and strong. A mysterious world is introduced through a captivating scene that isn’t afraid to delve straight into thrilling action that captures the reader's attention. There are many enigmatic details that are begging for an explanation when the story opens but despite these mysteries, the scenes are captured with vivid detail that allows the readers to immerse themselves in a bright and energetic scene. Honestly! I thought I was watching an anime in my mind while reading. And personally, I find that these unexplained phenomenons and details only capture my attention farther and keep me intrigued about the world, eager to find out more. I highly appreciate this style of storytelling over overwhelming info-dumps. I really enjoyed how this author wrote dialogue for his characters, each line succeeding at giving them life. The lines didn’t feel too strange or unnatural and banter between the characters was engaging to read. Also, a big bonus in my opinion that this author actually follows dialogue conventions correctly so I was never confused about which character was talking. There isn’t much to say on the plot as the story has only begun and from when I’m writing this review, I’ve only a tiny taste of the world created by the author. Like I mentioned earlier, don’t expect long boring info dumps here. The introduction to the world is a mysterious one, details given through the scene, a charismatic and unique setting unfolds from the action and character dialogues. I won’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil anything but I will honestly say that I’m incredibly charmed by the world and how powers and abilities work. Through each description and event, I find myself wanting to know more, whether it’s about the magic or even the societal structure of this fantasy landscape. Kudos to the author’s good work! One small critic I’d like to give is that while the action scenes are clearly described, I found that oftentimes the prose did not match the intensity of the action that was happening in the scene. Try to use words and sentence structures that could create more flare and dramatics. A simple way to do this would be to have more variance in the lengths of your sentences to create a more dynamic narrative. Good luck to the author!! And to anyone who comes by this review, please give this novel a read~

Since this novel is pretty new, I can't say much for the story flow at the moment. But you surely put your best effort in this first chapter; it has a good plot, a strong beginning chapter, emotional impact, and I like the characterization of the two fathers. I'm looking forward to more of this!

Poor Sarah 😭 On another note, the story has a good start with slight buildup into the world background. The premise is really interesting. Only 3 chapters in so I can't much, but having read the author's previous works, I am anticipating the next. Moar!

I like the pirates concept, and I think the story has some fierce battles in it! Want to see the background of the characters a little bit more and hear about the world more too! It's only two chapters, though, so I'm going to give the author a break and wait till he gets further along! Can't wait to see how the next battles in your story are fought!

Intense story, that will pique your interest from the very first moment you will cast your eyes on the letters contained within the first paragraph. Despite only two chapters being up at the moment of me writing this review, I can already see great potential in it, and can imagine it turning into one of the classics of the site! ALL HAIL EXP SECT!

Story line is different from what I have read in the past. But this book is awesome. I can't say much about this as only one chap is released. But I can say it is a book with good base (I mean story). Hope author will work hard more.

I have read a few chapters. Will read later too. I like the pirates concept as the book's first chapter introduces us to a few characters. The character design is good. The writing quality is good, Stability of updates is equally good. The story is developing nicely. The World background is good too. All the best.
