Life on earth was nice, everything settled down in the year
2021, and people learned how to live with the pandemic.
However, the things that happened in 2020 showed that the Earth didn't have much time left, scientists already knew that a meteorite was on its way to Earth but didn't tell anybody to not create mass panic.
The meteorite hit earth creating an explosion that destroyed it thoroughly leaving nothing behind! Humanity only panicked in the last seconds before it hit the surface, the explosion engulfed everyone leaving them a short delay to say their prayers and have a peaceful passing.
But, one orange tabby cat could be called lucky or unlucky at the same time, the friction of the meteorite colliding with the earth created a very small portal between dimensions, the delay of the explosion gave the owner of the cat enough time for her to throw the cat into the portal!
It was unknown if it was the right thing to do.
The explanation for the "chaotic neutral" Tag, by that I mean that the MC won't get out of his way to save others and might even abandon those close to him in certain situations, he is both selfish and very emotional due to the things he went through and he also fears death quite a bit, but he would also act kind on situations and seem like a good guy which he isn't. The truth is that he does what he wants and what he feels, for short.

This story is very interesting. The concept is something new for me and refreshing to read. Most story with animal protagonist where originally human, this one is different we get to see the cat grow more intelligent and feel different emotions. However I am only on chapter seven, so it could go horrible wrong.
The story is well written and has a nice start and concept but throws the concept away really fast. Spelling and grammar is not bad. There is a trigger moment in the story that could sirously turn people away, chapter 10 or 11. (Rape then death of an Ally, the first and only true Ally). At first the cruelty and focused mentality nicely depicted the animalistic side of the animal/MC. Kindness where kindness is due, but survival above all else. I wouldn't have minded continueing the story if the MC's moral and ethics stayed in this animalistic spectrum. (He asked AND answered himself that he WOULD abandoned his Ally again if he was at that moment in time again). The whole redemption after like 4~6 chapters later feels like a cop out after the author getting alot of hate I guess. The hate and anguish of the family member to the MC, after hearing about the Ally's death but not the rape, made sense. (I don't care how many sleeping visions you get, I'm not gonna forgive you ever. Fuck some shitty quote or items and shit.) Oh and the whole thing about having 9 lives doesn't matter anymore after like 15 chapters. Our MC is back to a normal webnovel Protagonist with 1 live. He starts acting like a normal person with only 1 life. Maybe later he'll get them back... somehow. But not having it already build in at the beginning, how he can get 'Cat lives' back, would feel too ham fisted to me. The world is ok, animals with wuxia skills and powers. Now the Young arrogant Nobel has an even clearer species advantage TO be arrogant. I had to drop it cause the story was getting a little wack for me. Both wanting to be an Animal Emo Edge Lord and sympathetic hero.

Although it started out good, new, and interesting, in chapter ten he abandons a comrade to be Raped, and eaten. I don’t mind selfish MC’s all that much (ie not saving a damsel in distress, and basically NOT having a hero complex) but abandoning pretty much the only person you know is one of the lines I draw for reading. It’s nothing against you author, I’m just not into the more evil MCs. Peace out ✌️

Story: Mc is everyones errand boy, from very early in the story our mc is doing other ppl bidding even if its under the guise that he enjoys what hes doing. In fact hes an errand boy for the lion tribe for so long that he willingly decides to be their errand boy for the rest of his life. This stays true for the whole novel and even at the end hes literally forced into becoming the most powerfull being. Character: Mcs character is very bland, we are told hes someone that wants attention but doesnt get attached to people but its hardly ever actually shown. Other than what happened at chapter 10 whereafter the author jumped through multiple hoops to redeem mc because of backlash, there is nothing that shows off his selfish nature. World: Not really a very interesting world, theres a few continents and tribes across each one. Thats about it, no danger zones or interesting landmarks that the mc explores. We are told there are other planets with inhabitants but the mc is too busy defending this one to care. The god realm is just there, nothing too interestng in it either. Power System: Extremely boring after the first few chapters where we are introduced to it. Its essentially our mc gaining power by devouring and breathing techniques, but devouring is forgotten for the majority of the time and we are told mc uses his breathing techniques whenever he can. He gains godhood by eating the gods, no struggle to ascend or anything he just ate them and gained their power. Overall: A complete step down from authors first book, mc isnt likeable cause he doesnt know what he is, is he a selfish person who only cares about himself or someone who cares about his allies? Story is boring, him just doing others bidding the whole time, power system is extremely underdeveloped, side characters? who cares about them. To me after the backlash author got from ch 10, he decided to throw away the mcs personality and take something more safe and that ruined the whole story. For me personally what happened in ch 10 was suprising in a good way, i didnt expect anything like that to happen and it showed mcs selfish personality, if he would have stuck to his guns i think this story would have been much better.
I really enjoyed this book!!! The author had there own way of doing things and its refreshing to see a story were the mc experiences struggles and differs from classic human characters. It's a good read 20/10 would recomend!

Actual POG novel. I'm really glad to stumble upon this. First time reading a novel with a cat as the MC. I'm not good in writing a review but all I can say is to give this novel a chance. Read it, just do it.
The novels great with a good writing quality with a selfish and a non human mc. Got a decent grammar with a good flow. Loving it so far and looking forward for more!

I'm going to tell you now that you might want to skip the first 30 chapters atleast because 1. the cat is scared to "die" with 4 lives left to the point of leaving others to die for him. 2. The cat doesn't do any damage or contribute much to the story, we got a gladiator type scene at the beginning mainly for the purpose of killing a likeable character. 3. The story is pretty annoying at parts, this is coming from someone who enjoys SOME 3 star books, I'm not saying to not read the book but for the first 30 chapters it's mostly a prologue with like a chapter of info that isn't very useful after the gladiator scene. 4. If you're looking for a cat that's able to use his abilities efficiently, you're gonna need to skip till around chapter 30, he doesn't use it much for the first chapters, from 1 to 30 he uses it around 4 times, and it mostly explains the uses of the lives but since I said to skip till chapter 30 I'll tell you, the lives work as a game life from Mario, He has limited lives but he spawns above where he died so basically he falls from above after he dies. And just so you don't figure it out, he's supposedly the descendant of a different race of cats from that world so he gets an ability that allows him to go invisible when he walks and breathes in a certain pattern while other cats can use a different version of that ability. Writing Quality is ok but 1-30 is what I'd call a prologue and it doesn't really give information that's useful and the author doesn't tell us those things. Story Development isn't that great, because even if I like different books at different paces this one is a little on the extreme. Character Design is pretty bad, the mc doesn't use his abilities efficiently and he's more of a side character with a bit of personality(scared of dying with multiple lives) and while I do like many genre's chaoticnuetral doesn't work well with a character that's only chaoticnuetral when he's scared instead of a character that doesn't care and knows he can't or doesn't need to do anything. World Background is pretty good, not great but we do get a good amount of information about the world but it's mostly centered around 2 regions and the rest we get in passing remarks. Hope this helped you with reading and don't feel bad about skipping chapters, I wish I did it but I atleast want to help other readers. Have a good day!

Love this!! The mc isn't the typical hot tempered idiotic justice filled person, it's refreshing. But, be aware that there is some disturbing moments in certain chapters because the mc wanted to survive.
It’s a great book so far. I hope it isn’t over but if it is then that was an unexpected ending. You could use it for another book as a sequel section. It’s a great book.
Tbh i dont even know what to say this is a great novel it really didnt dissapoint me with the Mcs character development it was really well wrtten and basically thats all i have to say but hinestly this novel is great
You know this is how conspiracy theories start and I love it, the author knows it's satire but imagine a forty year old woman just reading this on his son's computer in his two hundred gigabyte file named untitled. And just thinking this must be true or else my son wouldn't have downloaded it.
