I dropped this after a few dozen chapters. The synopsis sounded cute but the ML abuses and rapes the FL repeatedly. I also hate that the implication is that the ML is still worthy of the FL's love after all that because of the flimsy excuse that their poor relationship was because of a misunderstanding

That story is BS, that author always abuses the female leads. No matter how in love someone is, how can she forgets all the mistreatments at the end just bc he dotes on her. No way.

This one has a really nice story...it has brought my emotions in a roller coaster ride though mostly had me crying. Author's grammar and english is also very good which is a big plus for me so I was able to enjoy reading it. Through the story, I was also able to imagine how the author's culture is. To more of your books and success! 🥂

Well I bought this at a highly discounted price. First the synopsis has nothing to do with the story at all. Secondly, the characters are hardly believable even on a fantasy level. Thirdly, the systematic violent sexual scenes are evolved into a love affair is considered oppression, slavery and many other negative connotations with words that could be given lastly with effect of pure mental instability to write something so traumatic and turn it into a romance novel. Interestingly, this has been a common theme of many Asian writers on this platform and I'm taking a risk in thinking that this may be a pervasive theme within their societal norms...to fantasize this type of behavior as normal. This author's writing style I have noticed to be very popular with the level rankings of anyone under level 3 but anyone above level 4 are critiquing this writing accurately with more than just emojis😂😂. This novel is addicting but left me scratching my head quite a few times because it did not flow very well and translation was very poorly done along with unedited grammar. BUT!! I did read it completely especially since I purchased all the chapters. I do not believe I can suggest this novel to anyone that doesn't understand why this type of background for women is traumatic and NOT ROMANCE on any level!! Please note that if this author's other storylines are following along this same path it's probably not a healthy thing to ingest into your psyche. Thank you for reading my honest review.

I'm confused. I've read until chapter 6 and all I get is abusive behavior of the ML which is totally different from the synopsis. Will it be the same for hundreds of chapters until the plot change? If it is, it will be a stressful n tiring reading journey which I really hate.

Author, I did drop this story a year back as my rational, practical and empowered woman in me kicked at some point. I know what would get when I took this story again to read. Yet I chose to read anyways. I love this novel because sometimes we need a world were we want to lose ourself. I felt an urge to want my heart ache for no reason lately. I might sound weird but I want my somewhat strong me to be weak and cry sometimes. I couldn't in this world so I needed this story to immerse myself for a couple of days. This story is just only about love. How far can you go for your love? How desperate you can be to chase your love? This story is just about losing yourself in the process of loving a person. After dropping this novel before a year I needed to lose myself in a world where I want to escape from this world. I just want to give myself a world where I could feel the love which is not practical, smart or anything. I just want to feel stupid, dumb and endlessly chase that feeling of love. I have nothing to say about any characters as I only felt the blind love in all characters. Thank you author. You made me feel many things while reading your book. I did read your other book and I loved it. My heart ached and I knew I wanted it. This is what I feel now and felt before reading this book.

The story is fascinating, just that I get confused about the gender of the house keeper, but I love the story it keeps me from doing unnecessary things 😆 You're a great work, keep it up ❤️❤️

overall, the story was a good one. I did not like much certain parts but others I could not stop laughing 🤣. the last chapters, i totally did not like it much. it would be better if the story had a different outcome regarding the brother. but again overall It made me laugh and cry.

Call me masochist, but dem Chinese Series be making me a sucker for Pain. Love the plot, theme and outline, but feel that it can do without the excess misunderstanding. Nice book though.

Just wow. I was curious as to why this book has so many fans and went and read the spoilers. Still, I can't get myself to like this book. The sad part about all these is that most of these rapy and abusive books are authored by females. Giving these authors sides eyes.
