Story started pretty good, but then some parts dragged way too long on (tourney) or felt weird. Novel might be worth a read if it a regular update schedule but at the moment is weeks apart and super inconsistent. I advise to check it in a month and then read or drop it.

Thanks for the great story. But the plot is shot. As of Wednesday morning 9 o'clock big chunks of the story are missing the fighting in the wolf den, the wolf pup and the Lichforest battle. To name only a few. Do I need to go to a non-official site to get the whole story? Or what is happening with the story here on webnovel?

Good MC, good fights and an interesting world. BTW the MC doesn't have the legendary, the crazy, OP level item - plot Armor. So don't expect him soling a million enemies or wiping the floor with his enemies. It's a new twist to the genre. Romance wise... I seems like it's picking up. Recommended.

The story is great, the characters are good, the writting style is good too, so... ... if you like stories about games or fantasy or both this is for you. If you like harem or OP Mcs or Mcs who kick the asses of everyone or make enemies just breathing this is not for you. But be warned, if you pass this story yo u will miss a lot.

I would really love to actually be able to read this but seeing as how chapter 19-34 dont exist I can actually do so, as soon as those chapters get re-posted I will definitely come back and read and keep up to date with this. Until then I will go read stuff that doesnt have missing chapters

The story is well thought out, with relatable characters. The author has clearly put much effort into working out the background information, leading to a gripping and thrilling story with a great rate of development.

One of the best if not the best video game novels I've ever read. And the author doesn't even lock chapters, so you can read it for free. I give it a 5 in update stability because the author doesn't get money out of writing this so it's to be expected that he cannot write as much. I love the magic system and the mc is really a cool dude and not really the same op guy you always find in videogame novels. Here, there is no truck-reincarnation walkthrough, no 0'1% drops, just an honest guy working his ass off for the people. Definitely worth, would love to have more to read but I understand that the author's gotta eat.

I looked at this story and thought 'wow this looks pretty cool' but now that I read it this has surprised me. You have thoroughly thought out all the characters and the world. This is a well thought out world and I can't wait to read the rest of this book. I like the fact that the novel is based around the game and not too much is happening in the real world. I would have never been able to come up with an idea like this. Good job and I hope you keep writing!

What starts off as a refreshing read is a kick to the nuts as the author will throw the mc back time and time again. You will see vilians win and the mc will be kicked with no pay off. Stay clear of this novel. One dimensional characters shoddy development. Good bye author but too much crap and no one will continue to read your work. There's no pay off and dude is the kind of second place runner

This is a brilliant read. The writer is extremely descriptive and the characters done so realistically it leaves you really invested in their lives and looking forward to diving into another chapter to see what’s going to happen. Action scenes are well constructed and the main character isn’t cliche overpowered which is a surprising and also good little touch. Would definitely recommend!

The story was good so far but we are still waiting the Re writing of chapters which is currently stopping us from trepassing the chapter 19.

This is one of the best-written books I have read. I love Eric as a character, though I wish for more of him by himself. But I would recommend this to anyone!

DEFINITELY A HIDDEN GEM!! I have no words! One of the best book in game genre I have ever read. Before saying anythings furthur. Here is what you can expect from this book. A not OP main character. A relatable story of a group of gamer's friends. A beautiful world building. A not-too-slow and not-too-fast paced. Esports competitions. Writing quality is top-notch! Stable releases! The author also have patron so this is too be expected Story Development is on the side of slower side, but that was how a good story should be, not focusing entirely on the actions, but slowly builds up the *******. Character Design is great, but in the earlier chapters, there're so many characters that it might take your time to remember them all, but that's because the main character is not a depressed man who don't have any friends, but somehow get many girls to chase after him. The main character is socialable and have a group of friend. So, introducing his friend in the earlier chapters is realistic. Once you read further, you will definitely remember them. World background has a lot of potential to expand more, but is solid. I can't say much about this yet as I think I have to read more about it, but I definitely expect much from it! Overall, I recommend this to anyone who love the esport and VR genre. It might start a little slow, but once you get to read furthur, you will wish for more!

After reading i don't know how many 1000 of chapters on this App and others, i write my first commend on this Novel i readed since it started to help promote it. That alone should already say a lot. The story is quite low paced because there is a tremendous amount of groundwork beeing done, from character delvelopment over world building to the magic system. Everything is sound (especially the MC and Side characters are realy well made for a story like this). Currently there is no OPness going on for the main character (when he was questing with friends of him, one of these friends got a great rare skill and not him for example). Only down side is the slow Update rate, but i guess this is actually high considering how much planing prop. goes into this and that this isn't just translating but real writing (other Authors here just put up real high standartds in update rate). You should defently give it a try and read at least the first few chapter until the tutorial is over...

So im a sucker for magic systems and i love this magic system i see a lot of people complain about how come he doesnt experiment more with runes but it seems pretty clear backlash is severe especially for gamers who are trying to get a head and grind for the leaderboard. At times i think there are too many characters but they are all being developed really well they just needed to be introduced slower (then again i dont think that would have fit the story properly)

The writing is excellent and the characters are well fleshed out. The story is interesting and has a fresh feel to the VRMMO genre. I especially love the world building and feel a lot of thought has gone into the theories behind it. Despite a somewhat slower paced plot than most wn it's still an exceptional piece and certainly something for those who enjoy proper novels as well as wn and ln. My only comment would be to perhaps increase humorous situations if possible. However that is my personal preference, as I know from personal experience not all writers are gifted in witticism.

Not someone who gives video game type novels a chance, but honestly, I am glad I gave this one a try. Character development is at a good pace, while the skills aren't named super crazy million word attacks. Definitely deserves to be in the top 100 on WN. :) -Dff123

I love this book! I am a fan of this novel and I greatly appreciate it. The storyline is solid, as well as character development. I only gave 3 stars on the stability of updating because I'm selfish and wish the author could mass release chapters 😅.
