...300g wasted, his advance goes flying into the bin... he needs his own treasury because with it he can advance his village wtf is the author even doing... in the auction he can get hidden secret blue prints or what not nonesense that he needs gold for, but now he is wasting all that so that he can advance his city's commerce value... this could be done differently honestly if the mc wasn't the authors mc this here now would mean the early death of his village, well maybe he is doing this to make the coming fights with others less one sided, if yes that is a fucking dumb way to do this... having the mc take his advance away for more ******* in the story is a heavy blow to the logic of the series, and also privatizating the ships would kill his provit plans he planned to make with the salt fields salted fish to sell if he pays market value for the fish from his own fishers he would make them rich, and his own village poor, very foolish.

Great work for author. But for MC it is stupid decision. Whit privatization there are a lot of problems. -Additional workload -Spreading of power -greed and corruption -third party involved -crime increase -dissatisfaction of people for tax and lords decision ... All that could be avoided if it was as before and adding merit reword system and position promotion system. If someone works and gets something and it loses it will brig a lot of dissatisfaction and even mutiny. But if you didn't have anything in the firs place then there is nothing to be dissatisfied with. And merit reword motivates people to get better and work harder. Will people be happier if they earn something or if their hard work was recognized appreciated and reworded with the something.

We are starting to forget that his underlings are AI, but when you do it makes this glaring plot hole because it's impossible to make NPCs that "smart." It's a world-spanning game and there just isn't enough computing power to make each of the millions of NPCs behave the way the author describes. It seems lazy to me. Imagine that his villagers were other gamers. You can make that substitution flawlessly. Only now you also have to write about his peer's thoughts and interactions. By making his villagers impossibly smart, he is making it so he has less work as an author. I wish sooner or later flaws of them being programming starts to show their limitations because as of right now, none have emerged.
