This game is harder than I thought. A platinum rank spear can't even pierce the scales of a level 70 desolate beast and the scales are supposedly made from just iron essence not anything special... or maybe I'm wrong and iron essence is something special and can't be pierced by platinum ranked weapons used with emperor rank spear techniques. So maybe iron essence is something great and I just don't know it. Oh and I realized this chapter the mc made a mistake becoming a general, and obviously never learn his lesson in his previous life as an adventure gamemode player. After the assassination I gave him the benefit of the doubt but now I can't make any excuses for his poor fighting skills. He sucks at fighting enuf said

LOL people making excuses for his crappy fighting skills because he’s out of practice due to being a Lord. He trains his weaponskills every single day. Plus he’s fought alongside his army on many occasions. Blatantly the author sucks at writing non army fight scenes, almost as bad as his romance. And apparently has memory loss regarding stuff he’s previously written aka how the MC was previously a badass top scoring adventurer in the game. But yeah this fight sucks ass, pun intended. Brags to his men that he wants to solo it even though it’s twenty levels higher than him, then when fighting just uses all his energy to narrowly dodge and roll around the floor before using his life saving skill that gives him severe debuffs once the time limit runs out. Blooming heck just team fight until you find a lower level beast to solo you Leroy Jenkins moron! No idea how he managed to win so many battles prior considering his piss poor tactics
