A night time voyage on an inland river with vessels built for deep seas, loaded down with troops, guns and ammo; not a chance in hell. The ships draft due to size & weight would make them sit low in the water nearly scraping the river bottom and they undoubtedly do not have river guides that know where all the shoals are so high chance of running aground especially moving at high speed....
