Another masterpiece from this author! I’m amazed with how the author’s mind works because the story is full of twists and turns but it never really gets confusing. Leonard is such a sweetheart and Vivian is definitely not just a damsel in distress. Read Valerian Empire & Heidi & the Lord first to appreciate this more. You can also read this side by side with Young Master Damien’s Pet because their story is within the same timeline. I’ve read all the books, but this is the first one that really made me cry. Be warned! 🙈

I cried so much when they died. I must say after reading this book l feel like author has not done justice to “Hedi and the Loard” which Loard Nicolas’ love story. Author has take really good time to write this book and develop the characters and their love. Their bond is amazing. But I cannot say the same for Loard Nicolas because I didn’t see that much jealousy or emotions towards Heidi but still it was my favorite book because I love them both . But after reading this book I love Leo and Vivi. Their bond is amazing but too many good people died in this book. Which was unbeatable.

vivi and leo , i feel like theyre the most normal couple among this series.. i dont know why i felt that way, i can understand how theyre feelings towards each other. it was too sweet, no matter how much i re read this story ( bcs ive already finished them all) im crying over and over again ,.. thank you ash for the beautiful story

Like the author’s previous two books, i enjoyed reading bambi and the duke. IT actually took me a while to finish it, as It was in my library for a long time. i like to read completed books. I would have love for them to have had “more time together” haha..

This book has one of the sweetest love stories you will ever read. The author does such a great job that one can not help but to step back from the book and think, wow! I really felt the characters emotion! It is just amazing!

I loved the book, it’ s great to be back in the world of Alex and Nick but this time with a longer and even more mysterious story… the author does a wonderful job, I’m even thinking about re-reading the whole series which I have never done before with any book.
