Not terrible. I've read about nine hundred chapters. MC is a prodigy in some respect, however, the system is underexplained. He scams others for resources in order to get the system upgrade. Usually, I wouldn't have a problem with this. However arrogant MC doesn't have the power to back up the claims. He's been in at least twenty life-or-death situations and the teachers give vague advice. As a result, high casualties occur in the other world. Another thing I absolutely despised relates to the MC's power. Once he reaches Level Eight, maybe even before that, anything he says as a joke is actually put into action. Then the MC is surprised every time by his own authority, which is stupid. Extras: MC uses Changseng's Half-Golden Body because he thinks it looks cool. Horrible decision-making abilities. Translation quality goes downhill after a certain point. The author needs to translate at least 600 chapters worth of material.

Story was great until 440. Then it looks like MTL(went to the most recent chapter 800+ and it's still MTL). I wish they would actually quality control the content on here.

Suffers from the same stupidity that almost all cultivation novels suffer from. The lack of acknowledging human life value and never holding terrible leadership accountable. The odds of becoming martial artists are insanely low. However, Terrible teachers that berate and put the students in life and death situations, dire situations that require more people and more strength, teachers procede to actively sabotage and not protect students so they die. Further reducing already low headcount. Just overall stupidity and contradictions. Teachers expect students to understand things that they never taught and then proceeds to invite and encourage the death of their “precious” students. Then complain about all the resources being used and wasted. Then berate the students for not expecting it and dying.

I‘m glad this is being translated again, but the translation quality has really deteriorated. And now, to make things even worse, it now costs 3 or 4 fast passes just to open one poorly translated chapter. If I didn’t like this story so much, I would have dropped it long translation resumed after months of hiatus.

The world background provides an actual reason for martial arts instead of just an endless list for power and immortality endemic in cultivator novels. The MC's cheat is not so OP as to ruin the novel - it still feels like he is actually accomplishing things. Power creep is controlled enough to provide some actual tension in regards to the fate of the world without the constant interjection of a new level of enemy that totally invalidates the prior storyline. It's a gem in the sea of trash.

Ok, listen guys, I know that the system seems kinda broken, unbalanced and op at the beginning but it's far from it. I'm at chapter 382 as of now and everything appears to be up to the mark. Apart from a good weak to strong story this novel contains some of the funniest jokes I've heard in a while, but, you need to read a little further in order to reach the funniest ones.
