Don’t know how it will go but he hardly knew Freydis so it is hard to care much about that relationship but I take it as his first love so that tends to cloud the mind. Not that I care for Claire either as she is also new and you don’t have to like a girl back just because she likes you which some novels tend to do. Anyway curious if it will be a basic romance or if it will be something new. Alternatively the combat and world is interesting along with the plot so I am excited to read more on that.
