People, calm down, Lord of Mysteries is not being ripped off... I think the similar template is more like a plot element that is being in trend: the MC pretending to be some powerful entity, and unknowingly make different people joining him/her... so the more novels using this element, the, more probable is a new subgenre is to be created.

I have yet to find one thing I like in this novel. It has all the hallmarks for me to like it (kingdom building, cultivation master) yet it doesn't do anything particularly well. Even the dao system seems like a poor rip off of lord of mysteries. I don't mind copying but at least try to be better at it. This rate I might drop this
