For the first volume, the story would focus on the journey of the 16-year-old main character, Juin, as he tried to make sense of everything. In addition, the first volume would focus on Juin's development and eventually, a revelation of his backstory, as well as his true connection to the demon king, Lucifer. When what perceived to be all there is to their world is suddenly changed, what would happen? Friends becoming enemies, and enemies becoming friends. The weak becoming strong, and the strong becoming stronger... or killed. As per my usual writing style, hint(s) would be dropped on the chapters, some foreshadowing the future chapters and some would be clues on the characters' backgrounds or intentions. it is a shame the author never finish the novel it's been 9 months since the last chapter and this novel have real potential the only thing I have complains is the synopsis because the mc isn't a normal weak coward human like the synopsis said

the story is just the mc merging with his "demon" everytime he gets into a situation he can't handle which is every chapter, the mc is stupid and weak despite being overpowered except the fact that his powers are sealed 99% of the story. I'm at chapter 200something and the mc is as strong as a child in the Naruto world even weaker than Naruto in the beginning of the story.

I thought I had did a review for this book but better late than never right. This is not the genre I usually read but because I know the author is awesome I gave it a chance. And yes it is very interesting to read really. The character development is on time, the storyline is very interesting and so are the side characters. It's actually a great read.

I started reading this long ago,and somehow I still continue reading it even with the unstable update. One of the earliest ML novel that I read and I like it. It is interesting enough for me, maybe because I didn’t read many ML novel to compare.

As a demonology nerd i was initially sceptical when they choose to use a The demon of pride but it naturally fit and contrasts the nature of the cowardly MC. the relatIonship between lucifer and Juin reminds me of one of my favourite anime katekyo hitman reborn. Its a great book with loads Of potential

Honestly theres not much to say here, ive read up to chapter 51, and the most i can give is "pretty good". If you want my unbiased opinion, its a fairly solid story, my biased one however is that i couldnt really get into it and its not really my cup o' tea(I might read further in the future tho) As for nitpicks on what i think is "bad" about it, or its flaws. I would say that there isnt much foreshadowing, author just kinda drops stuff, but it could be that im to stupid to see the foreshadowing, or that im still towards the beginning of the book and theres nowhere to really put it? Ummmmnm, the english and grammer can get funky sometimes, and as of chapter 50 there isnt really any "antagonist" per say, more as other underlying mysteries that i suppose could make the story unique... Or it could fall into shambles later. Thats about it, solid story, ignore the cover, and go ahead and give it a try if you liked the synopsis.

The author has an incredible way of telling the story along with excellent grammar. The characters are likable and unique. It also has a very well thought-out plot, unlike most of the stories in this platform that just sort of go along with the flow with random things just happening with no good reasons. I definitely recommend reading this marvelous piece of work.

I really like this story because it's an original mix of all my favorite cliches. The characters are very fun and the interactions are fun too! I've read up to the chapter 395, so this isn't some random exp rating. Literally my second favorite story on all webnovel.

It is a very interesting novel that had me hooked from the first chapter it is a novel that i would recommend to teenagers and young adults.The writing style brings life to the characters and is very funny so if you like a good novel this is highly recommended

This is a good web novel hands down. dont be fooled by the title. this book is great and the MC goes from zero to hero. The background story will make you wanting to read more and anticipate for more. The main character isnt so brave and intellectual at first but as time goes on he gets better. The character developement is great and you can sense the emotion within each And every character.

Honestly... This novel is great... It sticks to it's main element even when developing the characters... The only problem I have is with it's power scalings.. Especially how we barely see Lucifer's strength when compared with other characters
