So, apparently the downside of the system is it makes you stupid. They literally gave him the perfect excuse to leave that §hitty guild without raising any flags and he jumps up and says HEY LOOK AT ME! As if there’s only one worthy guild in existence that could possibly support his sister and him. Author, admit it, this was obviously a mistake. I’m not saying your previous chapters were perfect... but this scenario is just drivel. I hope you pulled a card from the cheesy soap-opera dramas of the past and wrote this off as the MC having a nightmare and this idiocy never really happened. How are we supposed to continue reading this? Seriously. I got that you threw him into a foreign country and with the chaos brewing in the world, your America 🇺🇸 is treating immigrants as second class citizens... but even slaves have value to slavers. You can’t overlook these obvious things when cornering your character. Remember, when the story is read the readers try to imagine what will happen next, what actions can the MC take and what would I they do if they were the MC. In doing so we can share a vicarious connection with the MC and delve deeper into the rabbit hole. When the MC breaks character they also break that immersion. Hooking your readers is all about this ethereal connection, guiding your captive audience on an otherworldly adventure as they waltz across the pages of your imagination. It’s magical and poetic.

Really bad I had hope that even though this was most likely going to be just another solo leveling clone but all of the logic behind the things that have happened so far just don't make any sense at all I.e how he was able to hide the scrolls in his "secret compartment" when they have ways of testing people's ability ranking in their world with a scanner not to mention we even have x-ray or other methods with our current technology to scan for hidden objects so yeah that Is just bunk and lazyiness at least try to explain why his hidden pocket can hide from their scans or searching and how he was able to acquire something so convenient when he only makes a 100$ or less every run mostly less meanwhile having to pay for medicine for his sister and supporting himself and can only make three runs a day not to the mention the most likely time constraint and mental exhaustion from being constantly berated and harrassed the physical exhaustion from carrying all the equipment would mean he would have to have superhuman levels of both physical stamina to begin with in order to harvest from monsters and making long treks into the dungeon so why would he work as a mere porter for a pittance of a sum when he could make a lot more doing something don't say that it is impossible for him to get the treatment for his sister without working at the guild because I can tell you those rich people without ability scores would not be going venturing into the dungeon themselves nor subordinating themselves to a guild not to mention that black market gives so little for ability scrolls your telling me that is their no one that is profiteering off selling off that medicine to the black market?? bullshit also let's just take a step back here and assume that this is the case and the world is pressed through a cookie cutter and everything falls neatly into place aside from the fact that his sister is most likely going to have strong abilities in the future like every novel before has but let's ignore that for that now and focus on the system itself hello I would like order a Poseidon's blessing and can take a wind blessing too along with that oh scratch that combine those I will take a ice affinity and earths blessing too yeah not feeling it aside from the fact that the tasks are almost a complete copy of solo leveling but the fact that he struggles with a 3km run when he has been lugging all that weight and dissecting monster corpse everyday which would take a lot more stamina than a 3km run without any weight makes no sense at all now onto the personality inconsistiencies the mc makes a complete 180 after he gets his power with no warning which would make sense if you were not trying to portray him as having strong willpower and able to endure hardships to protect his sisters life but yet you made him very cowardly In the beginning but slightly bold after he found some treasure but would someone with a strong spirit like that who suffered abuse everyday but still kept on be so foolhardy I imagine not but he is only human so lapses in judgement are par the course except that he immediately gets arrogant and foolishly displays abilities he shouldn't have when a chapter or so back he said he shouldn't let them find out lest he be hunted by the council when he could have just changed his identity and quit the guild because their is no point staying around when they are not going to provide him medical services for his sister so their is no point in showing off like a spoilt teenager who needs to prove something but the way he handled his black market transactions proved something to me his not very smart and hotheaded because he quite literally explained that no clean person would show up on that street and that it was the seedy underbelly of society yet not only did the black market guy not even try to rob our weak overinflated ego protagonist who showed up on his doorsteps with semi valuable goods but he even bargained with the lowly porter whose abil
