I think this should be MC Male lead (eastern fantasy) as it is cultivation. But then the name is english so it can also be grouped under fantasy.
The flow is better than most stories here:)

Let's critic this work as a wuxian novel, it has everything, fast cultivation, the sensei, training for several months, several monsters, usual isekai MC. Your novel will become popular soon, it just needs some chapters, time or expisure. I give this 10/10

Storytelling 7.1/10 (Outside WN)
I have many problems with wuxias, lets start with the MC, he was built up to be a normal protagonist with morality of a modern teenager, yet he chops off the head of the vile men without any reflection or hesitation. Since I havent seen much yet of the MC past Ill assume hes a normal teenager, but normal teens will usually hesitate to kill a man, or even wont do it.
Second I would have preferred if the vilemen were actually the right on that one, and the girl was on the wrong. The damsel and distress troupe was kinda cliche for me. This troupe is kinda overdone.
Third, I have yet to see any direction where this is going, the first 1-5 chapters were your usual cultivation chap. Okay it git interesting at 6, since the MC had a flaw, he was arrogant, I liked that, and that was a problen that he had to struggle, I was looking forward on how he'll surpass it. But then another chapter later his problem was easily solved since the solution was handed out to him, a ghost appeared out of nowhere. In other cultivation this could be angel, old man, demons, sentient system but in this case its ghost its fine I guess. But it feels kinda, dues ex machina perhaps, where you have a problem, the solution gets handed right into your face, add some time skips then the MC becomes stronger, just few lines later.
Chapters later, the MC had surpassed his problem of arrogance (never to be seen again), he trains become strong and get revenge on the beast, then gets a familiar.
I have a main criticisms actually on most wuxian novels, they just become get stronger and stronger, with no plan on hindsight, why do they wanna get strong? To end an evil ruler? Bring peace? Avenge some guy? Because this journey will feel like playing a video game without a story line. You just slash monsters and stuff get strong and just that, increase your level, then repeat. Its like playong an rpg where ur done with the main quests u just play boring sidequests and become stronger and stronger. But at some point it will get repetitive, you will ask yourself whats the point? Im willing to see other actors besides feral beasts. To give you an example, shield hero was a fun read for me as he cultivates, I like to support him get stronger, why? Cuz he was being ostracized by the other heroes, I want to see him get strong af, and destroy those buffons. Or arefureta where he gots betrayed and seeing him becoming strong rewards me, I wanna see those who betrayed him gets pummeled. Because of this human problems I wanted to root for them. Becoming stronger for the sake of is umm, maybe hollow?
Im looking forward about the damsel in the future though and it will let us see more about the world. Maybe it will open up to better plot lines in the future. Maybe he will find a better reason to become strong.
Or maybe I overlooked some things and I like to be corrected or this is just my opinion. If u have a differing opinion which u put some string conviction upon then u can just correct me. Ill update this review if im wrong.

Anyway I like ur writing style, its better than most stuff here no problem to read. I give u a high score for it, it was a pleasant read somewhat, I like the systems and powers and studd but I hope the author can avoid repetitive patterns. MC fights beast, then gains power then epeat, or MC fights beast, lose, trains then beats beast, repeat. I'd prefer if one is explored you move on to explore other story direction, by adding a side character, or antagonist, or an evil army or just something.
But this has the potential to become popular though, most readers here just shrug off the flaws I think they wont find it a problem, and the flaws I mentioned wont ruin your entire book. Its still a good read. Hope u continue to update maybe there will be something interesting to happen in the future. I give this work 5/5 for support, good writing and enjoyment.
And since this was an early novel maybe my review is ungrounded, which u can just ignore but Id look forward to where is this going.

Well, here you go! The author bringing in the world of e-sports / e- games and into a story. Good start! I can visualise the evolution where gamification, technology, digital and art of writing converging here. I like the description setup of Midas in the forest, I have a vision of a few mixture of a shows I’ve seen lately that carries such element in their stories I and truly believe the entertainment industry will continue to evolve to carry such themes moving forward. Midas, the forest, the realm that he is in, the old white ghost - looking forward to see how it will come together. More scenarios can be created to let the characters utilise their powers and energy creating more cliff hangers for readers to get hung up waiting for next chapters. Exciting start with many ideas that you can explore with this kinda story. Currently the writing is clear - articulating the characters, scenes etc. , Looking forward to more action packed chapters, controversial and heighten clash in power fights / battle. (Again this is just my POV/ preference) It’s like battling in games. Will dm you more thoughts

Straight forward start, but I like it!
The writing quality is not bad honestly, as you can understand it clearly. Few errors, but good overall.
No comment on the stability of the updates for two reasons: 1) this is just a start 2) I like quality more than quantity.
The story development is fast. For those who like reading a fast-paced story, like me, it's good.
The character design is what I would say simple in an interesting wat. The characters are described simply... but it would simply be interesting to see them evolve.
The world background is where the work is needed... it needs to be described a little more in depth... the description is little casual... but we may know more as the story goes... so making no judement here.

I've read the original version and the new (improved) version of each chapter, and the difference is like night and day. It's clear the author takes every bit of advice into consideration.
The descriptions and fight scenes are much improved, and it seems like the story will continue to deepen in the future.

This is a very interesting book. I'm not fond of cultivation novels since I don't really read them, but to those who love cultivation, this is a very good novel to try. The narration is simple and understandable, and the dialogues have realism put into it.
