A kidnapping. An arranged marriage. A family curse. What's not to like? Eager to see where this story goes. The female protagonist is well-rounded character and you really have to feel for her, thrown into predicament as she is due to her controlling family. The prose is at a highly developed level and quite easy to digest. My only struggle at the start was getting used to all the character names, but after a few chapters I had them all down pat. The premise is intriguing and draws the reader in right from the start. A pleasure to read.

With our mc falling into an arranged marriage with a handsome man, it sounds like a typical Chinese novels I used to read as a kid. This is a solid plot with good potential.
However, I would add that I needed more intrigue in the beginning. Maybe something to draw me in, something completely different from other Chinese novels since I personally enjoy action scenes. I can tell the curse as well as how to break it is the main intrigue, but I felt like it could have been put a bit better to catch my interest from the get go. Again, this is my opinion, and you donβt need to change the storyline just for me.
Another issue is the misplaced commas and run-on sentences I am seeing, which is a common error for everyone. I would suggest combing through the chapters after posting to spot them.
All in all, it is a great romance book ! So donβt get discouraged Author and keep up the good work !

You've done a good job with the context. The setting has well portrayed the Taiwanese culture and this is something that you can appreciate when you read the story. The story starts bland, and it's a little boring to read at first. This however starts to change as the plot progresses, but you definitely need more action, more hooking for readers.
You also need to work with your grammar. Lots of paragraphs and sentences require strong editing. There are lots of information that don't actually contribute anything to the plot. Try using a grammar correction app.
The main character is boring and doesn't show up much personality at first. However, as she is put in more situations she slowly starts to show her interesting and human side.
Keep working on it and don't stop writing!

I'm gonna rate this a five. I've said this before, but I dislike modern genre. However, a modern genre with antique in the mix is rather an interesting spin to this plot. It's very descriptive and goes with the flow of the plot. For those who doesn't enjoy modern genre, I recommend they give this a try! I hope to see more updates of this too! π

I must say, this is one of a kind that you'll find on webnovel, that etches around tradition and modernity. The Author made me interact well with the characters to the extent it felt like I was in the book. It's not boring at all, you'll definitely love the ML as he his gentle but cold hehe. FL is a weak one but will evolve into a strong woman. I will surely like this and I recommend it to all readers on this platform.

A romance that edges the line of modernity and tradition, this evokes all the feeling and emotions necessary to make a place in your heart. It would worm its way in and settle down like an old habit. The characters are quite nice and loveable and the interaction between them is just precious! I can't wait for more.

It is a very well-written book with a well-thought story development. I do find the family to be mysterious as to why the stepsister is being kidnapped and who they stand in the novel.

Nice work, this could hook you up to the screen. The story plot is quite unique, other than the "contract marriages" or "a minor marrying a major outta circumstances" though the FL is kinda like a minor from a rich home, in other words illegitimate. I genuinely love the plot and I can't wait to know that ghost causing the thrills to the FL. The ML is quite neutral, he isn't bossy and all that, but can be so mean, hehe. I hope you can update sooner, this is one of a kind of all contemporary romance novel.
