One of the most unique and best cultivation stories that I have ever read. I’m not even close to done but had to make a review just in case I forget.

The novel was good at 1st. It got really boring after 600 chapters or so. Very similar to top tier providence, but I like this one a little more. I only have like 50 chapters left but I can’t find the motivation to finish it.

The story builds up slowly and steadily. It's a very intriguing and focused catching story. I like this book very much. I hope the author has written more good books.

Now this is in my top 3 favorite novels, along with the I am a peerless sword god one they are very similar. Yi Feng does not realize he is God, and Li Nianfan does not realize, I’ll say who he is really as to not spoil haha. It is pretty funny just like the character Yi Feng, everything he does is done in the best way possible yet he thinks everything is ordinary. Chaos Ultimate Heavenly Spiritual treasure? What! No! It is just my ordinary water! 😭😂😂 it is pretty funny with lots of misunderstandings of Nianfan because both sides misunderstand eachother, one thinks that they have met the strongest existence in the universe while the other is also trying to bootlick them because he wants to stay safe, he does not even realize that everyones being the ultimate bootlicker to himself!! It is pretty funny but also has a great story line!!!! Although the ending is not the best, he discovers the truth but nothing really exciting happens, and maybe it was just the translation but it was not really clear who he is, a lot of questions go unanswered. It also ends very abruptly after he discovers the truth, so we don’t see much of a satisfying end. That is pretty much the only thing I ever disliked about it, the ubrupt ending. Anyways, I HIGHLY recommend this one!!!!

what a finale, it was such a journey reading this, im sad to see it end, somewhat glad that i can finally spare time for other novels i took a huge pause on, notice more frequent minor spelling mistakes to the ending 100 chapters but it was ignorable, once again, it was such a great journey reading this book i hope one day there could be some auxillary chapters for you know what

This novel should be "Misunderstanding!" How can this be so repetitive so endlessly?? I'm at chapter 50 and already fed up with it, can't imagine reading till the end....

Very fun read. It's a story about a guy who's very strong but thinks he's super weak, and how everyone around him misunderstands what he does. Obviously the premise wears pretty thin after a few hundred chapters as there is only so many ways you can use the premise before it becomes repetitive, but the first 300 chapters are very addicting.

This story is just the same concept over and over again. Translation seems good but you need to shut your brain off to get through the slog. 106 chapters in and I just can’t take it anymore, I’m dropping out.

HONEST REVIEW! Okay the story was amazing with only a few things that should have been improved on to make it completely perfect. Story development: the whole story is like just the mc being a bigshot and not knowing but the people around him do know. That’s it. The whole story revolves around the misunderstanding’s that comes with the mc’s actions and words. This does get annoying in the beginning since it’s brought up so much. However after you accept that the whole story’s going to be like that then it’s fine. Characterter design: I loved the characterscters in the story. Each one had a unique personality’s and the actions of even the side characters effect the whole story in the end. HOWEVER! The biggest disappointment was actually the romance of the mc and his 2 wife’s. His first wife Daji’s story was flushed out and the romance was obvious and expected. However his second wife Fire Phoenix felt extremely forced. They had the time to give even a tiny bit of backstory for her and a the very least give her an actually name, but no it was never explored witch was disappointing. World background: The world background was surprisingly vast. Each time we think everything in the world is explored a new area pops out with new stronger characters. The story doesn’t make the new areas too strong but strong enough that with a little push the mc’s companions can catch up and dominate. Overall: The book is great but the romance needs work. The story line and character development is good but the ending felt a Little rushed but at the same time not. THE PLOT TWIST IN THE END WAS GREAT, I think no one expected the twist in the end. The only thing the should have done is expand alittle on it. Overall read it and enjoy just get past the repetitive “I’m just an ordinary guy” line and your set.

Definitely a long read but well worth it. Not gonna lie I really hope there will be a sequel somehow even if it is only a short one. But still a perfect ending if there isn’t a follow up.

It was a great story to read from beginning to end, so many hours of enjoyment from reading it! The only thing I can think to criticize off hand would be the spelling errors within the last 10-30 chapters, felt like a bit of a rush to get it finished with less checking than normal, otherwise everything was fantastic

This novel is comedy itself, I just can't stop laughing at all these wonderful moments. The only novel that ever got me laughing like this was Library of Heaven's Path as the MC in it also does all sorts of inexplicable things that have everyone thinking him far deeper than he actually is as he routinely unintentionally does the impossible and breaks all ideas of what's possible. The misunderstandings are quite hilarious and they ( cultivators ) really overthink too much, This is a slice of life/fantasy not too dark/somber atmosphere kind of novels. Whenever the MC does something in front of the cultivators its gonna be earth shattering, heaven destroying, worlds torn asunder but he himself doesn't know this hence the misunderstanding which is quite hilarious to which he then goes why is the cultivators are so polite all of a sudden, I love this novel. I usually dislike misunderstandings but this novel I love it because all the misunderstandings are actually explainable and acceptable from their respective points of view LOL. Usually novels use BS like "too lazy to explain" to perpetuate misunderstandings which is just lazy writing.

A masterpiece, this is a misunderstanding based novel, MC and everyone else have very different thoughts on the value of items, leading to some hilarious situations. MC hasn't begun to cultivate at all, and all his problems are solved almost without effort. If you're not a fan, this won't get better. The author is using one of the classics from chinese literature '‘Journey to the West’' and '‘Investiture of the Gods’' in a fun way for this novel which i very much enjoy and MC does thing above common sense which gives hilarious scenes. This is A unique take on cultivation novel, Usually I find slice of life boring but this novel is an exception, This novel combine cultivation, music, farming, cooking altogether and it's amazing... I can't stop laughing at this, just love how both sides are seeing things wrong especially him for not figuring out what the system's really made him into, its a nice novel to read after i am done reading some intense novels. I love stories like these, they are a fresh change of pace given how few there are ( too many of the hell-scape super-serious cultivation novels around ) and No face slapping and arrogant young masters, Author is a genius. The System take MC from Earth, train him to be perfect being. After that, throw him, so we can blame the system instead. It teach MC of knowledge that off from this world. MC knowledge about Cultivation is same as Mortal, Training Spirit, Body, Battle, Drama, and more drama. But the system give him a different perspective but more in deeper meaning Considering how the MC is a clueless super-expert. PS : One man's trash is another man's treasure is the defintion of this Novel.

One of the most well written books on this site. Excellent from start to finish and great progression throughout. Nothing feels out of place. I'd give it more stars if I could!

These type of stories are my guilty pleasure. I know they are repetitive and the joke worn itself out a couple hundreds chapters in, but I still like reading it from time to time. However, one major issues I have with this story is the power creep. The power level goes from mortal cultivators to immortals to world creator to trans- dimensional beings in a vertical scale. By later chapters, the power level got so ridiculous that I stop enjoying it. I feel like it would have been a better novel if the author just keep the power scaling at around immortal level and expand on the whole Post- Journey to the west world thing instead.
