wait wut? "The plan" is to drive alien spaceship that (1) CRASHED and (2) was disassembled for research over the years?....

So... basically the whole plan is just based on assumptions... They do not know if a spacecraft is there, let alone its size, condition, or how to fly it... And I find it hard to believe an "extra" working spacecraft is just going to be waiting there for them...
