I do not know what to look forward for every morning when i wake up...this novel was an integral part of my day for so so many months...i have so many SS left only for this novel but now they are of no use to me...i dont know what to do with them...it was a long and beautiful journey and although I'm not as happy with a few aspects of this novel...like how some of the mysteries were handles and some were not..but i can understand that its upto the author how they want to handle their story and no mine.....but above all i actually really liked the way it ended...its the same way it started..with tang ning's wedding..and it was beautiful.thankyou for that.

And that's a wrap. When I first saw this story, I was slightly interested in the plot. However, I was disappointed in the beginning. Randomly marrying a guy, giving him requests just to get back at a cheating boyfriend and wanting him to regret. The logic behind that reasoning among many others is dumb, however I kept reading despite being turned off by the first chapter hoping it would get better. Reading on, it wasn't bad. It got interesting. After the first arc I thought that the story would focus more on the two but I was wrong. Schemes after schemes after schemes. The story became so repetitive and the recycled plot became annoying. The only thing that changed would be the names of the antagonists. This gives gives the impression that the author only did it because she ran out of ideas. Most popular chinese novels are like that and some have solid endings but this one was just disappointing. As the story progressed, the leading characters got pushed out and 90% of the story focused on the schemers. 1% focused on the issues being solved, 0.1% focused on the couple and 5.9% focused on other relationships and the other 3% on their children. There has yet to be any major focus on the relationship of the two leading characters. The one point the author kept adding was, "we understand each other so well that we don't need to actually talk to each other. We are both mind readers" That's all we can we say about them them and adding to the fact that the male lead is a beast in bed. Adding smut was probably a way of getting the readers riled up to forget about the nonsense taking place. More could be done before that huge time skip. Ending it there and then jumping straight to the kids as adults with some messed up romance that somehow 'becomes logical' and follows the path of the parents, could've been better. It felt forced. Especally the relationship of their daughter. Even the male lead's character could've been analyzed after x years of being together. So one dimensional. 0 improvement in character. The story has its good points, don't get me wrong, however, the bad dominates it more. I had my moments when I got excited as well but that thrill slowly died to the point where I took long breaks from the story. I'd give it a 4/10.
