It is an amazing story that has been let down. World building and character creation is amazing while you’ll get a plot that is hard to find in hundreds of wuxia stories. Here’ s the bone I’m picking. From chapter 1138 the translation, character titles, genders, names, laws and dao has been muddled to the stage the story is unrecognisable it is disgusting and infuriating. The amazing story dies at chapter 1137 until translator or updater goes through and fixes it, the story will remain unreadable PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

If this ever gets looked at by a proper translator again they need to re translate starting from chapter 1138 since from then onwards it’s machine translated trying to be passed off as a manual translation

Really great Novel and I'm glad that a new translator picked it up, but please check your translation! Sometimes genders changes every paragraph for the same character. The names of the CVs are also messed up atm i counted 23 names for the CVs but their should be only 10 and I only read 8 of your translated chapter till now. (BTW at 1138 starts the new translation) Soo please get some good proof readers or anyone to help you with the translation, because it's a really really geart story with awesome character development and it's just one of my favorites. It deserves a consistent story that everyone can follow and to not need a notebook to the side to check if the name is a new character or an old one with a new name

since the change of translators, i think you guys need an editor and a proof reader with prior experience of reading this novel. cause the translation is inconsistent and many of the terms are not the same as the previous translator, thus resulting in confusion. some of the names of the characters are translated too litterally like celestial venerable yu, yue, huo, etc turned into royal, moon, and fire. even though sometimes they are correctly translated. there is also the celestial emperor or emperor tai or something is actually just 1 character but the naming /title usage changes back and forth a lot making me confusing him for another character. i dont want to ask too much cause i know translating is hard so i dont scrutinize the poems and quotes from this novel that are too hard to translate without understanding of chinese literature. but please atleast use the right titles and names for each characters. cause it confuses me so much on who is who. especially when the number of characters are already so large. added with inconsistent naming and titles, it makes it much more confusing for me to read.

Overall excellent novel until they decided to toss it in the room of forgotten novels and with them holding the translation rights no one else can finish translating so we are stuck in limbo

Its the best novel in webnovel hands down. The start was a bit slow which turns a lot of reader down but mid novel where it get so intense that you want to read more and more. Disappointing that it was discontinued but i keep going back to read it. World building 20/10 and in the later chapter you will see how things are connected and you get*mind blown*, you can see how smart the author when it comes to writing past and future chapters

sigh! A heaven defying novel is stuck in dust fill room.... due to no more translator.... wish author find some translator.... it's a pity, for this godly Stunning novel doesn't deserve this treatment.

rating 5 based on the chapters I read. But translation seems to have stopped for last 7 months. Qidian apparently stopped the novel translation to translate the manga version. They still hold the rights for the novel, so no one else can translate it either.

Please update asap! It's a very good story but it's frustrating to see that it's not been updated for so long! It has excellent world building, amazing, well-fleshed out, recurring characters (by Xianxia standards), and an amazing story line. Only complaint is that the translator seems to have dropped it.

I don't understand you people at all, you stopped the novel to start the manga which you don't even update frequently and I'm sure you won't also update till the end. Anytime I reassure myself that webnovel will get better you end up disappointing me the more. I know it's not an easy job to translate but please and please, it's very heartbreaking when you start a nice cultivation book and not finish it... I just ask for you guys to be devoted when you pick something up. Who know how many times I had to give up on a great book just because I dont know chinese. Now, I know you will say that I am saying nonsense, and that I should just learn chinese if I'm so unhappy, (I can't do that - it's too hard!) but I will name a bunch of books right now that are as unfinished. And the fact is, I really like how you translate. You aren't like some other translators, who just blindly translate. Those translators are no better than MTL. To me, a translator is special. To be a translator, I believe you need to be a good author, too. Because different countries have different languages, just like some sentences in spanish translate awkwardly into english. Even more so for chinese, I bet. So you cannot just blindly translate the words, you have to think about the story, and the plot, too. One if not the best novel of this gener you don't feel weird when the mc defeats his foes it feals earned and not given, he suffers set back evey decison and event afects the world and the other caracters, there are caracters not some bland paper automaton. It is hard knowing this novel has stop beeing translated a dam shame really.
