I would totally recommend this book for you to read. The novel is amazing it is chef's kiss 💋~ 10 out of 10. Of course I will not deny there is Chinese propaganda sprinkled here and there but if we can over look this then amazing. I have enjoyed the novel and of course I have overlooked it. After all certain propaganda is really obvious and has made me question the reality of this novel and made me quite confused but come on. The mc is cold and rational but still soft. Not the cold mc that kills everything without blinking. But because the world they live in war is prevalent the mc makes rational decisions in the situation that she is put in. The Mc is a perfect main character.

this novel makes me laugh a lot, cry, angry, and thrill. the author kindly gives each character their own story, and weave them together seamlessly. love this book so much and still waiting patiently for the author to come back from hiatus!!!!

this story is so good and I've been reading it a lot of times.if only I can live in this world with linglan I hope I can help her in a way I can and be one of her family growing up with this family is worth it more than anything in this world I hope the author will continue this story I wanted to see how linglan be a king in her own right and complete their family again and live with her friends if this world is true make me as linglan sister and be strong to help her and find my own purpose to live as well.

I think that author was forced to stop this novel due to China's censorship because author didn't include racism in this novel. I hope that the author is safe from chinese government because they can even make JACK MA disappear just because he was condemning Xi Jinping.

I am hearing a lot of 'It is going to be like all the others where the FL will be protected by a shadow guardian' 'there will be nothing unique, I bet FL is just like all the others, weak and played around by the ML' :) Has anyone even bothered to read it? I HATE speculation of something not based on anything logical whatsoever. These statements have spurned away multiple readers who now lives with the regret of not reading a very good novel. Worst thing is they do not even know it. If anyone is still reading this then I beg u not to make the same choice. This novel is worth it. The characters are really nicely fleshed out Their interactions and friendship r amazing The comedy is gold The MC\FL is a true strong kickassing female lead who works hard to pave a way for herself and her comrades And most of all NO THE ML IS NOT A SHADOW GUARDIAN ALL POWERFUL ENTITY in fact he is weaker than the FL, this shows that in a relationship a man does not always have to be the one protecting, dominating etc etc He has his own strengths too. He is incredibly smart. They complement each other well And no, in the future it won't be like 'He grew stronger than her and now is forcing her to marry him like all the other overbearing MLs out there. Called it!' Sorry, not gonna happen. Mark my words

It's been about three years since I last read this novel and when I finished the updated chapters I had to stare at a wall for a good amount of time to not be absolutely heartbroken because the novel hadn't updated in forever. Three years later it's still stick in my head. I haven't even thought of an ex boyfriend this long. Please update I'm on my knees 😭. On another note, I love this story, you guys should give it a read. MC's pretty cool and although I was suspicious of it just being a weird romance at first, the romance actually only really starts showing up around the thousandth chapter and then slows down again. The world building is pretty good and manages to flesh out the whole interstellar aspect through the mini plots that don't contribute much to the actual plot but end up making the whole story. Over the last three years the thing that's stuck with me the most was the sense of camaraderie between Ling Lan and her friends. Friendship is one of the things that stick with me past romance when I'm done reading a novel and though the romance in this novel was great and had me doing laps for the miniature part that it's there, the way the smaller stories with Ling Lan's friends were woven into the overall plot really brought the book to a whole new level for me. Anyways, I'm giving this book a 4.2 because while I find this to be my absolute favorite Chinese webnovel, the update stability just isn't there. Also, if you start reading this and wonder when Ling Lan will be revealed to be a girl, if you're a frequent dropper of books, don't worry about it you won't get that far; however, if you're going to finish the book, yeah it still doesn't matter. TLDR: please update, I'm writing this review out of desperation

For those that don’t like novels with mc laying low dont read this. (Cultivation readers). I mean they mention it every. Single. Chapter. Could definitely add a Hiding true powers tag for your fellow readers. Though author explains why its still annoying, and with low level mc comes with arrogant characters. Currently at chapter 39. Mc: Has no goals and want to live a humble and low level life. Not much action tag in this novel as she wants to lay low, less she gets a sudden character development. Its more for readers that read for fun and not for action.

I really wish the author will continue boss Lan's journey, this is probably my most favorite fmc novel. I would surely read it again from the beginning if author continues this story..ahh I miss boss Ling Lan, her cute subordinates! and of course our pretty ml Li Lanfeng 😭❤️

This book is definitely one of the best books I have ever read on this website. Although it's chapters were unreasonably short and there were occasional switches in translators. It still had a great storyline and I feel the translators did a great job in bringing out the best possible version of this story. I look forward to the continuation of this story.
