It is a chill and relaxed story with hints of the supernatural (system and qi), but the ending is very disappointing as the author most likely just stopped writing and had the story end in one chapter. And the mc is very mild and not very decisive. it's a disappointing story, and the translation quality js pretty subpar (think of mtl with some half-arsed english writing ability).

Not much to say. The system is comprehensive which is a good thing. It also has a good enough reward and punishment system. There are some nonsensical features included like limiting his ability to give out medicine for free(doesn't make sense no matter how you look at it right?). Some characters fall through the common templates, most of them fall through the category of "rich and powerful". The story is too slow-paced to my liking.

Just finished the novel and I have to say, what an abrupt ending! I feel like the author must've just gotten tired of it and ended it for ending sake...

I love alchemy type stories with potions/elixirs/pills, etc. This is a very slow paced story that has a very daily slice of life kind of style to it. A lot of spending time with family and the nagging mom, quiet dad stuff while slowly coming to terms with the spontaneous appearance of a magical system that talks back occasionally. This leads to where the story starts to pick up pace once he finally starts to sell the one elixir that he can make just before the free chapters end. Overall, there’s a bit of magic. There’s no major conflict in the first 40 chapters. There’s a good friend, a gossipy town, an overbearing but loving mother, a ridiculous sister, a quiet father, the dog and the system. I like where the story is going but I could happily pass on the family visits and get to some more action, maybe have more of a purpose and I don’t get what he does with all the other medicines he makes. He doesn’t sell them, use them or otherwise do anything else with them…mild mystery there.

The summary should be changed to: 'the village idiot gains a magical farming system and uses it to grow fruit. The end.' This novel is just not very good.

This novel is a great read. I loved that MC stayed true to himself to the very end. This novel managed to satisfy one of my peeves about super powered hero/MC in novel. Which is in most book the MC are always getting beaten even worse than their antagonist. I get that there’s always a taller mountain, but come on. So glad this novel didn’t go that route. My only criticism is I feel that the ending was a bit rushed.

Interesting at the beginning but after chapter 800 is like author got hit by a thunder or something so his mind got fried, novel start to go very boring, mc looks more stupid, author makes mc looks like an eunuch, so i quit reading.

As of chapter 130 this is a great story. There are minor translation issues where a characters name gets mixed up with anothers, or a word gets translated one way in one chapter but another way in others. Overall these are minor issues that dont really cause issues with the story once you figure it out though. As for the world background, there isnt much information given about the world in which the MC is in, based on the story one can only assume its earth.

15 chapters in, I'm enjoying this story a lot! I hope it doesn't become bad halfway through. the character interactions are so natural you can't help but immerse yourself in the story (unlike some stories that are not to be mentioned). in conclusion, the novel makes me feel good so full stars to you.

The story was my favorite until the author decided that he was bored with the story and ended it in one chapter with plenty of story left to go in my opinion.

I think the story is amazing and very interesting. I would recommend to others, but this is just my opinion. Also have a great day everyone.

i gave it all stars so the author can see this. it is really stupid to only have 39(weird number to do) chapters unlocked when there is over a thousand chapters. nobody will be interested unless they get a decent chunk read. nobody would truly want to continue ready after only 39 chapters, atleast make it a hundred, where people would really want to continue.

Great read, but very very horrible way to end it. Just when you thought a new arc was starting, the author hits you with a 1 chapter ending. I loved the world building/plot of the story and honestly would have gave this a 5 star, but the ending was VERY disappointing. Super rushed, almost like the author reached his quota of chapters and then clocked out like a 9-5 job quitting with the job half done.

Interesting concept but extremely repetitive. Story suddenly ends is wrapped up in one chapter, can’t recommend it! Maybe it was dropped or the author was out of ideas...

so far has been a really good story. qlon the lines of development and character build up. on problem I have is that it is over one thousand chapters and I cant contuine unless I have free passes. other than that I really like the book.

Overall it was a great novel, I felt the system aspect was really let off after the first few exciting chapters also the ending is awful like the author just gave up and wanted to slap a ending on a tandom chapter. I loved the healong aspects and the romance betweeen Wang Yao and Su was amazing and really wholesome.
