The story does have world building capability but it seems the author possibly is saving that for another story in his “connected universe” of novels. The author does a fairly decent job of providing comic relief and writing characters with a modicum amount of depth and background. The ending seemed rushed with a lot of plot elements just washed over or not resolved. Overall a 3.5-4/5. Not as expansive/great as the Soul Land novels by the same author.

This is an underrated novel... really ! you might as well watch the series version ... maybe it can pique your interest after watching it 😊

I read the whole book some times I was happy sometimes I was sad in tears it was a roller coaster if u r new to reading Chinese stories I don't recommend it personally because ther is too much characters. One of the greatest stories there is plot twist and lot of romance I cried hor an hour some people will tell me I'm weak but who doesn't read the whole story and doesn't cry. I hoped the writer will have a sequel but he doesn't intended to write a sequel

The story captivated me. The character development was very interesting. Despite the inconsistency in the translation, it didn’t detract from the story. I would recommend it wholeheartedly. However, I wish someone would edit it!

The story was riveting except for the inconsistencies in the translation. Names were changing, different from the beginning of the story than to the last. There are also several gender errors and grammatical errors. Despite these mechanical errors, the story flowed seamlessly and the character build up was interesting. Good read but overly priced.

The story is okay. At times it was hard to read because the main character was too op and some scenarios were boring. When you see similar scenes over and over again along with the main character getting things easily, it a little boring. But overall, it's alright. The writing quality is good and the characters are nice. This book is a great read if you want to a story to pass the time.

Ah this is a good old novel if it's not a classic. One of first few CN translated novel i read and can still remember the story line. Not finished reading it though, I think it's on 500 ish chapter and because the translation was pretty slow at that time and i then also read other and slowly forgot to check this again. The story is pretty good and rarely went boring as you expected from TJSS works. And usually his novel doesn't go way overboard like thousands of chapters and that's a good thing for me. Maybe I'll restart reading this one later.

One of the few 5* you'll see me give. Back when I first saw King's Avatar anime, I was instantly hooked to the story so much that I wanted to actually read it. I've never read light novels back then, only watched anime, and Kings Avatar was my bridge towards it. That's when I found Gravity Tales. And in Gravity Tales, I fell in love with 2 novels other than TKA, one was Zhan Long, and the other was this one, but it was called Shin Wan Zuoh I believe. And let me tell you, this is still the standard I compare other similar works to. In my opinion obviously, this set the bar high because it was well written, has a smooth pace and it was a page turner. All the characters where given life and their legendary adventures where worth waiting 24 hours for, when the next chapter would be uploaded. Verdict: MUST READ...IMMEDIATELY! Lol.

I haven't read it that far im really liking it so far.. i recomend it as a time killer let's see how it goes as it progress down the line ......................

I'm baffled by Webnovel decision regarding Gravity Tale's novels. If they closed that site why not dump all the contents at once? They've done this way with other novels they 'aqcuired' the translation from other sites. This way new reader would have to wait for years to read it. Or he can go directly to the 'Just a Translator' original site and read it all for free. (Just serch for it if you are curious.)
