Fifty years ago, two families had a falling out due to different beliefs pitting against each other. The Takeo family used more harmful cultivation methods than some referred to as demonic and cruel. Although the Takeo family wasn't the only family who practiced these demonic arts, they were the ones to invent such cultivation and honed it to the highest degree.
The other family is the Mieko family. Not much is known about their cultivation, but it is known that the result of such cultivation is less crude, unlike the Takeo family practiced arts.
The only thing preventing those two families from fighting in a practitioner war is my family and the monsters that roam outside the walls. My family is the Asami family specializes in medicine and poisons. We are also a family specializing in arts similar to that ninjutsu or assassination.
