It wasn't reincarnation? REINCANATION

One day I found an unknown novel on my desk. It had a plain cover with no title. I didn't know from where this book had come.

Intrigued, I started reading it. It was the story of a character whose name was never once mentioned in the story, a HERO who killed its own people, a HERO who sacrificed itself for one who destroyed his world.

It was a story of a failed HERO.

The day I finished the novel.......... something happened and I ... maybe died?
When opened my eyes there was a translucent window in front of me.

[ A soul?? souls?? ... from the dying world complete the trial to enter the cycle of rebirth or be destroyed.]
