The King's First Snow

He had been trapped in a dream-like reality with no way out. She had given him a new life—she gave him a new birth.

If perhaps he had not known her, he might have already given up.

In order to keep his promise—in order fulfil his duties, he had searched for her for a hundred years.

First encounter, she stared into his hazel-like eyes. There was a deep unfathomed meaning behind those eyes like he was trying to tell her something. As she laid on the bed taking her last breath she said, “I wish you had loved me.”

Second encounter, the moment he found her he wanted to take her away—far away so no illness can take her life again. She agreed. And his heart shattered the minute the arrow pierced through her chest; he knew then that he had lost her again. “How many more centuries will it take to love you enough?”

In the modern world, he stared into her eyes just like the first time and said, “I finally found you.”
